Writing From: Clan of the Shifting Wing (Home) - Oct 28, 2021
It's finally time to set out on my own! I'll miss my clan but I'm excited to see new places in the world. My home clan spends so much time working, moving, working, moving... Everyone is so stressed with something I don't think they even understand. It'll be nice to spend some time stretching my wings and just being myself for once. I want to relax!

My grandparents say they come from the Windswept Plateau, which sounds like such a fantastic place to visit. Maybe that wind is why I feel so compelled to travel? My father comes from the Viridian Labyrinth, which also sounds lovely - I think I'd like to see everything the world has to offer! If I can?

Writing From: The Fount of Travelers - Oct 28-30, 2021
I arrived in the Viridian Labyrinth, stopping when I saw the giant tree! Near there, I found a garden sanctuary for traveling dragons! They even had treehouses. That's right, houses in the trees. How cool is that?! And the dude that took care of the place, a skydancer named Axolotl, made really good homemade ice cream and pastries. Which is pretty cool considering he looks like he's made of ice cream. I met a lot of cool dragons there. It made me realize how many different dragons are out there in the world for me to meet! I stayed for quite a while but my wanderlust and curiosity got the best of me and I set off to find other cool clans!

I've seriously been enjoying the nature region, so I decided to check out the swamplands that border the ocean. Upon arriving in a place called the Gladeshadow Province, I met the most amazing, majestic, handsome dragon in the entire world. His name is Glinwehr. He's around the same age as me, and wow is he great. I really wish he liked me... Anyway, besides the marsh wanderer's company, I also enjoyed some other things the Province had to offer. I rented a room in a really comfortable inn, and I stocked up on lots of food. There were hundreds of bugs crawling around some gorgeous lush gardens, so I doubt I'll run out out of supplies anytime soon. I met another dragon that was just leaving the territory as well. The poor dear was blind, but she seemed confident in finding her way and was super sweet when I talked to her. Maybe I'll see her again some day; I think we'd be good friends.

Writing From: The Forgotten Cove - Nov 2, 2021
I travelled to plague next, and--dear diety--how different can two regions be from each other? Even though the Forgotten Cove doesn't have a lot of green trees (or green stuff in general), the spot is absolutely beautiful. I nearly missed the entire place, as it is so ingeniously camouflaged. But a cute snapper with a keen eye spotted me, and he waved until I'd finally spotted him too. WeiLan is the most adorable little thing, born mute but not less enthousiastic than anyone else. I seem to enjoy his company the most out of all dragons here, because he has incredible knowledge of the flora and fauna near the Forgotten Cove. He showed me where to find the tastiest bugs, and even took me to a secret lake one night, which was inhabited by glowing insects! I've never seen anything that beautiful in my life. It makes me wonder what other secrets the world hides!

Writing From: Just outside the Forgotten Cove - Nov 3, 2021
Oh my. I was ready to leave, and I made it about twenty minutes beyond the cove when I got cornered by all sorts of horrible monsters I had never seen! WeiLan had warned me about them, but I never thought I would run into them this quickly. I tried to fight them off, but they had taken me by surprise. And then all of a sudden one of the dragons I had acquainted these past days saved me! Her claws are incredibly vicious, she got rid of the monsters in just a few seconds. She showed me how to defend myself, taught me a few tricks. I am YanMu forever grateful. She gave me a stock of bugs for on the road, and made me promise to be careful. I will be careful, YanMu, I promise.

Writing From: Avaris City - December 8, 2021
I spent a long time in Avaris City, there was just so much to do! I had originally only planned to stay a night or two in order to rest up, but I met Seraphina who convinced me that I needed to stay at least a week in order to see everything the city had to offer. Well one week turned into an entire month, where did the time go! Anyway, I better leave before Seraphina talks me into staying another night. Avaris City has been lovely but there is still so much that I have yet to explore!

Writing From: The Lantern Cove Inn - December 13, 2021
After I left Avaris City, I realized I’d never been to the Sunbeam Ruins before! Since I was already in the neighboring region, I decided to take a stop in the domain of Light, and I found a really nice place to rest called the Lantern Cove Inn! A bunch of traveling dragons like me stay here, and we’re allowed to stay as long as we want. While I was here I met a skydancer named AutumnLeaves who’s also some sort of fall spirit, which was super cool! I spent a lot of time with him at the Inn, and when he was ready to head out, I decided to fly with him to my next destination!

Writing From: Lanternlea Port Library - December 22, 2021
We didn't travel very far! AutumnLeaves and I wandered through Lanternlea Port, taking in the sights. We had snacks by the pier and watched performances in the streets. There might be some kind of festival going on, I'm not sure. I felt closer and closer to AutumnLeaves. I might be falling for him, and I think he feels the same way!

We spent some time staying in a small inn within a large library. There were many scholars there, each pursuing their own tidbits of knowledge. Some of them were even teaching the youngsters! Maybe it was because we were enjoying this welcoming community, but AutumnLeaves and I nested for the first time! When we decide to move on, our twin daughters, Juniper and Maple will have such a loving community to grow up in!

Writing From: The Ramshackle Inn - February 23, 2022
Goodness, that was quite a stay! AutumnLeaves has never been to plague before, and I wanted to show him all the beauty this land can offer. But while we were looking for the Forgotten Cove again, AutumnLeaves came down with something. We ended up staying at a small inn off the southeast coast, where a wildclaw named Caspian looked after us. Turned out AutumnLeaves was mostly restless (and more than a little jealous), but I think we’ve finally worked through it. Cas used to be a sailor, and I’m more excited than ever to see where our adventures take us next!

Writing From: Wanderweg Wood - February 26, 2022
When we arrived at the gorgeous, lush forest that was our next stop, we were greeted by a friendly coatl who told us his name was Abba! He was positively charming, like an eager little puppy showing us the splendors of the woods, and a glade that we could rest!

Abba frequently visited us, bringing stories of his longing for a fortune-telling, future-seeing coatl of a neighboring clan. It was so charming, how clearly he was in love with this other coatl. And I fully confess that I tried to give some gentle nudges for him to confess his feelings. Apparently, it struck a chord with my darling AutumnLeaves, who kept excusing himself to think.

Eventually, as we were stargazing through the boughs of the trees one night, my companion confessed his own feelings for me. As if I hadn't been able to tell from how he pined and ached for my companionship. Nevertheless, it warmed my heart to hear him admit it fully, and I was quick to assure him that I felt the same. AutumnLeaves has my heart, and I shall never leave his side.
