Amadei was always curious of others. Of how they think, of what they feel, and what makes them tick until they break into tiny pieces. At first, she merely watched others from the distance, observing of how they interact with each other, it kept her curiosity satisfied at the time, but eventually it began to bore her to see the usual events play out. A hatchling plays with a ball, they trip, and they cry which causes the parent to come in. A pair with common interests meets at a bar; they talk and sometimes end up together. These mundane sort of events were so common and weren’t of interest to her, she wanted to see how others would react in a situation where they are in their most desperate, where they reveal their need to survive despite the sacrifices of others.
So, she did.
Unfortunately, not many reacted to well to Amadei in kidnapping their loved ones for her observations. Calling her a monster for putting them through tests where one must survive, tests were hope is brought to the breaking point before she snapped the thread down when she reveals that no one was to survive anyways and all the blood that was on their hands was pointless. It made for more interesting observations for sure, filling up her books which were burnt to a crisp when she was chased out of her home town.
No matter, there were sure to be more interesting sights at the outside world.
Amadei roamed, with no clear destinations and only the desire to see the most interesting sights the world has to offer. Sometimes, she had to make her own, other times she would just merely watch as others suffered from their inevitable fate.
It wasn’t until she came across the Tower, that she met others that were similar to her. With no reservation in sacrificing others for the sake of others, they didn’t mind her ‘observations’ sometimes they even helped her in orchestrating them.
Yes, this place was perfect for her.
