A MEETING WITH ICICLE
~
A cold sensation trickles down your spine, and when you turn around, you’re not really surprised to see Icicle.
“Heeeelloooo.” Icicle hisses softly, flicking his incredibly long tail. You stare into his ice blue eyes as you respond. “Errr…hi.”
Icicle approaches you, and you grimace as the cold sweeps over you. But you continue to stand there, even when he stretched out so that he’s inches away from you. His armor clinks as he slowly twirls his tail. Finally, he lets out a huff and slips into his icy cave. You let out a breath you never realized you were holding.
You hear a soft chuckle and tense, realizing he never left.
“I got you, didn’t I?” The first time he spoke, you couldn’t make out an accent, but now you heard it loud and clear-a crisp British accent, threatening and gentle at the same time. “I-” You take a nervous step back. Icicle clicks his tongue. “A pity. You fear me.” He didn’t sound surprised. He stares at you for a little longer, and then he takes off his helmet, revealing his face. Only then you realize how handsome he is.
“Do you trust me?” Icicle asks you, sounding genuinely curious. “I-yes.” You find yourself saying. Icicle smiled-not an icy, menacing smile, but a kind and gentle smile. “Then close your eyes.” He says. You obey. You hear his footsteps walk away, and for a second you wonder if he left. Then you feel a rush of cold wash over you, and you realize he came back. "I'm going to guide you somewhere, keep your eyes closed." He whispered behind you. "Okay," You say nervously. He gently takes your arm and leads you forward.
"Open your eyes," He says after a few minutes. You open your eyes...and gasp with amazement.

What you saw was something you can't explain…both literally and figuratively. You made a promise to never utter a word of what happened next the night you met Icicle.
