• WAYFINDER •

The Wayfinder is always working, shuffling between rows of books with its notes underpaw, the clattering click of its back hooves can be heard throughout the archives, along with its cheerful tunes, irreplicable by any who hear them…

The tiny creature hums a jaunty, otherworldly tune as it shuffles its papers. It’s form is difficult to focus on but it’s possible to get the vague impression of thick brown fur, three conjoined heads, nine eyes focused firmly on the papers it’s looking over, a lion’s tail twitching in time to its tune.

It taps one pair of its large front paws, the others holding the papers and large shimmering feather quill, the colour of which doesn’t register to the eye. It brings a sense of pleased exhaustion with it, the feeling after completing a project you’ve worked long and hard on.

Maybe it’s angelic, the wings curling out of the far sides of its face and poking out of its thick furred coat, or it could equally be demonic, it’s back legs that of a goat, hooves curled beneath it, the three heads, the hissing serpentine lilt to its song.
But one thing is for certain, it is not of this world.
