  Once a young paladin sworn to uphold virtue and crusade for the Lightweaver, with many divine enchantments at his disposal, Ayotunde has ended up as the left-hand man (see Nephele) of the Shadow commander Belithia. Ayotunde would have died attacking raiders in the Foxfire Bramble if Belithia hadn't come upon the scene and rescued the bleeding, confused knight. Once Ayotunde's health was restored, he considered himself honorbound to serving Belithia to repay him for saving his life. Belithia tried to turn down the Light dragon, but was unable to dissuade him from pledging his eternal loyalty. Thus, when Belithia was called to the Forum of the Obscured Crescent by her old acquaintance, Nephele, to help the kingdom with their new battle plans, Ayotunde followed. While he has by now been appointed the Lieutenant General of the clan, he still considers himself indebted to his master. He tends to their weapons to the point of obsession, and the only time he will reprimand Belithia is when the latter makes unnecessary purchases. He tends to act dramatically, and will both mentally and physically beat himself up for transgressions - both real and imagined - when Belithia refuses to. Many dragons who get into a fight with him soon regret it, as he spent many years studying under Belithia and Nephele. |
