Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this goober wandered a little too far from her home lair (Ezevic #584448), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Dandelion was born in summer in the thriving city of the Sunken Cradle, a place bustling with every kind of traveler and trader, snugly carved into the Greatwyrm's Breach. Her parents were invested in the mercenary business, like many other dragons there, helping future acolytes of the Earthshaker finish their studies of scrolls and blades before sending off to serve under their deity.
The young dragoness always struggled with picking a life path – as a wyrmling she wanted to follow in her parents footsteps and become a trainer, then a trader (arguably influenced by her then-crush), and even after that Dandelion spent multiple years just trying to find a calling she truly enjoyed. In the end, inspired by the dozens of dragons passing in and out of her home city, she decided to set off and travel Sornieth until she finds a place to settle. She packed rations and a few necessary knick-knacks, said her last goodbyes to her family and friends and went off to explore. Undeniably, Dandelion would miss dusty planes of the Earth flight, but there's so much to see!

Much like her namesake, Dandelion wandered wherever the wind took her. She passed through the vine-wrapped landscape of the Tangled Woods, chartered a ship across the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and wandered the molten fields of the Ashfall Waste. The acrid air was difficult to get used to and made her feel more breathless than usual. When she happened across a caravan of wandering merchants she was relieved when they offered a ride in one of the carts to their next destination.
Taking the offer not only gave respite but showed her something she had never seen before. The place that the merchants stopped was a portal, pink and pulsing with Arcane energy. A strange thing to find amidst volcanoes and lava. One dragon went through the portal, then another, then the carts were slowly directed inside one by one. When Dandelion rode through, she lost vision for a moment in a blinding flash and weightlessness engulfed her body. Then, just as fast as the feeling came, it was gone. She and the cart were facing a town built on the other side of the portal. She took a deep breath, thankful that the air here didn’t taste of metal.
The town was called Riftwist, and there was so much to see! She found her way to the Adventurer’s Guild where she met dragons from all walks of life and saw quests describing places and creatures she dreamt of seeing for herself one day. It was inspiring knowing that there was so much out there in the world and she could be the one to see it. There was a large map of Sornieth pinned next to the quest flyers. Dandelion closed her eyes and touched a claw against it. That would be the place she traveled next.

Upon arriving in the Sunbeam Ruins, Dandelion spotted a dazzlingly bright dragon from a mile away. When she drew closer, she found a kindly Obelisk laying on a picnic blanket, bent over a large tome. She wondered in passing if the rainbows his hide cast in the bright sunlight were ever a distraction to reading. When asked where she might find protection from the elements, the gentleman pointed her in the direction of the mythic Hewn City, the razed landscape rumored to be haunted. He warned her to fly further south before entering the city, so as to avoid crossing paths with the dreaded Emperor during her approach.
"Find the Imperial they call Kyzaghan" he said. "He is a gracious magician, with much influence over our great clan that rules over the City. Greater influence than I, at least! If you approach him first, then their leader, Venera, will accept you as one of us, for however long you choose to stay with us." She thanked him with a song, and took off.
She did as she was advised. The imposing Kyzaghan and his family welcomed her into their home, where she spent her evenings for the rest of her stay in the village. Living with Kyzaghan's family, Dandelion grew close in particular to his daughter, Harrier. She liked to give an air of aloofness, a real cool-girl vibe, which Dandelion had always seen right through. Every time she made Harrier lose her composure, every time they ended up laughing at an inopportune time together, Dandelion felt extra sure in her choice to come to the Hewn City.
But as it always came to be, Dandelion felt a restlessness come upon her again. She feared her decision to move on would make Harrier sad, but when she told Harrier, she was relieved to find her friend smiled knowingly, and nodded. "Knew the day would come," she said simply. "You will always have a home among my kin. And who knows--we may meet again elsewhere!"
Harrier helped her pack her things. The next day, she was off! As she surveyed the sky, she noticed a rainbow on the horizon. It reminded her of that kindly obelisk she met on her very first day in these lands. Well, no use in ignoring fate, is there? She headed in the direction of the rainbow, eager to find what layed beyond it.
