Biography
She/they, lesbian, transfemme
Calliope works in an amalgam of different mediums and styles, creating artwork that's as eccentric as she is. The young aberration left her birthplace in the Pox Consulate at a very young age to seek out adventure and meet as many dragons as they can. Being one of the Plaguebringer's first creations but being born in the domain of the Gladekeeper has had a large impact on her identity, as she often struggles with feeling isolated from both flights. As a result, Plague/Nature relations are incredibly important to them, and she is a vocal activist for ending the ancient resentment.
Her primary mediums are poetry, sculpture, and collage. There are certain circles throughout Sornieth that debate metatextual aspects of art, and if you pick one at random there is a strong chance that Calliope frequents it.
Unlike many other aberrations, both heads consider themselves to be the same person; the same brain only shared between two heads.
Would be a scene kid if she was online in the 2000s

Calliope always felt out of place in the Viridian Labyrinth. Yes, most of the dragons she grew up around cared not for her Plague heritage, but the generational tensions always lingered. It didn’t help that her family moved out of the Scarred Wasteland to be Plague Ambassadors at the Pox Consulate. She wasn’t a Nature dragon because the whole point was that her parents weren’t, but she could never be a Plague dragon even if she could change her eye color. Seeing the diversity of Flights she met through her parent’s work further enforced her wonder of other Flights. From the depths of Leviathan Trench to the towering achievements in the Turrets of Goldensparc, Calliope was fascinated by the world she had never seen. So when they were an older teenager, they left their home and started traveling. Calliope never stayed in one place for long, always anxious to meet new dragons and find new discoveries. The world felt infinite to her, and she would do anything to not miss a single thing. Traveling across the Reedcliff Ascent was supposed to be temporary, too, but Calliope decided to stay a while longer than normal in the Clan of Roaring Clouds. Calliope ended up loving the small eccentric community, and decided that the Clan was as good a place as any to call home for a while. She still travels frequently, and perhaps one day she’ll move away from the Windswept Plateau for good, but for now Calliope enjoys the connections she’s managed to forge.
