Khrusos

"Liminal Treasures" is the StP pair name because they make me think of liminal skies together, this one being the brilliant middle stages of sunset, and the other being closer to last light shining rays into twilight. Skies in the liminal spaces between day and night, basically. However, the most likely genes to be passed on are Chrysocolla/Malachite and so the babies are gonna be colourful little rocks. And so we arrive at "Liminal Treasures" instead of "Liminal Skies" as the pair name.

Named Khrusos (χρῡσός ) after the ancient greek word for gold (which can also be used poetically as something dear or precious). From the sun came gold, and from Theia, ancient greek goddess (titan) of sight and brilliance came the sun, making it an element of Theia from which everything bright and shining originates, according to ancient real world myths.

Khrusos was also considered a spirit/deity as the personification of gold and thus a deity of wealth (typically spelled Chrysos or Khrysos).

This name was chosen as a result of research into Chyrsocolla (Khrusos' primary gene) and the discovery that it means "gold" Khrusos and "glue" Colla in reference to the fact Chrysocolla was typically used as the primary component in soldering gold jewelry. This material is in the blue to green range only, but I think this dragon captures the gold jewel aspects it's soldered together in the past. I guess there's just some Chrysocolla in his making? lol. Also like the soldering aspect in reference to Fire flight/primal eyes :D
