Z O M A G O N
A presumed infectee; freedom or containment
Uh-oh, looks like this zombie??? wandered a little too far from his home lair (198371, Hilldigarde), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could return him home, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. __________________________________________________

Experimental Release
Written by Hilldigarde
Infected with an unknown, but deadly contagion, these dragons have become Zomagons! They are attracted to movement, and life. This child is a result of the union of the Zomagon pair that patrols the ruins surrounding the Roseveil Hollow. At the moment, Venatio keeps the Zomagon family docile and harmless to Hollow residents through a spell, however it is unknown how self-aware the children are outside of it.
This male Wildclaw child is the first hatched from the Roseveil Zomagon pair. The hope is that he has inherited some of the docileness of his father rather than the erraticness of his mother. Upon further observation, it seems that this one enjoys building, often found wandering the ruins in search of stray bricks to build rudimentary constructs with. While not openly hostile, this one will fly into a rage if he witnesses the fall of his structures (often caused by one of his sisters). Venatio hopes to rehabilitate the Zomagons if not cure them of their affliction, so they may re-assimilate with the rest of dragonkind (and hopefully not cause total extinction). His theory that prolonged exposure of this spell can work to slowly reverse engineer the properties of the contagion and work to nullify the transmission of the disease, if not outright cure the afflicted. It's around time for this one to participate in an "free-range" experiment. One can only hope that Venatio's theory holds true (and that his spell can work long distance)... __________________________________________________
Finding the Foundation
Written by Tidalgaze
The Zomagon arrived at a under construction water town. It was the most amazing thing he believed he had and would ever see, groups of dragons building together! Unfortunately, this sheer joy and excitement caused the Zomagon to rush straight into the construction zone, both causing a hazard to himself and those around him, making them not wish to trip on the visitor. Luckily, a strange, large-horned, spiralling dragon was able to swoop him up, and move him over to a site just laying out the foundation. With this, the Zomagon was given a chance to help out, as he helped other dragons lay out cement, and trace an outline for the new building. This appeared to be a great experience for the Zomagon's re-assimilation to society, and he was given some gifts from those that appreciated his quickness to help.

Building up the Pillars
Written by kiyoooo
The Zomagon next found himself in Starflower Grove. At first, he was upset - there weren't any bricks or anything to build with! So he wandered his way to the centre of the clan, where the dragons were gathering to hang out and go about their day.
While he was walking around, taking in all the different dragons and shops, a little voice piped up. "You're new to the clan, are you not?" The Zomagon looked down to see a little white Coatl at his feet. "Yes, I've just arrived here! Who are you?" The little Coatl looked at him for a few moments, not answering. Then, they piped up again. "Come here! I have an idea for you!" The Zomagon, not seeing anything better to do, followed the little Coatl until they got to the corner of the clan. Here were a pile of Intact Clay Relief, Dirt-Covered Tile, and a Weathered Grimoire, its pages open to reveal a small tower, of sorts. "What's this pile of stuff?" The Zomagon looked at it curiously. He could almost see how he could build them together - maybe if he stacked the piles like... Just like that... And yes, he could see the crumbled edge of that pillar in the brick over there... The Coatl spoke again. "I just remembered that we had a pile of bricks out here, so I thought you'd be able to help me put them together!" The Zomagon was already engrossed in the building, and the Coatl happily joined him. They sat together for hours, and by the time they'd finished, the sun had set hours ago. Exhausted, the Zomagon stood up to admire their work. They'd built a beautiful marble pillar of Light, the starlight shimmering off its formerly polished edges. The Zomagon turned to look at his newfound companion with pride, only to discover that they weren't there. The Zomagon was a bit unsettled, but decided to brush it to the back of his mind. After all, the Coatl had been nothing but sweet and kind. Although, he couldn't shake the question that still lingered, long after he'd left; How did they know that he liked to build? __________________________________________________
Lost Woods
Written by OboeToad
The Zomagon found himself at the Crossroads of a Shadow clan. The dark forest around him was veiled in thick, billowing mist.
He tried to find his way into the clan, but... he kept getting lost every time, and always found himself back at the edge of the forest. The mists seemed to deceive him... He saw shining lights of a city in the distance, but every time he approached them, he just seemed to emerge back where he had begun. Eventually, a member of the Travelling Dragon Hub was flying overhead and happened to spot him. The kind dragon guided the Zomagon to the nearest inn of another clan. Better luck next time! __________________________________________________
