A rare ancestral gene, it is not known what causes hatchlings to develop this ancient phenomenon. The actual origins of the Mist trait date so far back in prehistory that they remain mysterious and unknown ... but Golden Hours insist the Mist arose as part of their communion with the natural world. Developing among the fierce and undomesticated natural landscapes of sharp hills, valleys, and foreboding peaks, the early Golden Hours witnessed the late, low clouds rolling over those hills, gilded by the late-day sun in the magical "golden hour," and identified with them as a distinctive part of their home. They learned to cultivate the phenomenon as both camouflage and as a mark of their spiritual connection to that wild, untamed land. Inherently magical in origin, the [b]Mist [/b]is now a core part of Golden Hour identity. Q. Will you hatch in other nests for eye colors?
A. All hatchlings will be Windies! I am not currently sending dragons abroad to other nests.

Q. I missed my spot on the Egg Watch! What do I do?
A. Life happens! Not to worry. Let me know and you will get the next open spot. Try not to miss again!

Q. Why do you keep Basic as one of your Tertiaries?
A. Basic is intentionally used as one of my Prismatic Spring Tertiaries to preserve the clean look of the dragons and keep the focus on the lore, which depends on harmonious warm or cool colors, plus unexpected splashes of rainbow colors! The Mistborn gene being rare for lore purposes also depends on it.

Q. What's all this stuff in my dragon's bio?
A. Each hatchling comes specially numbered with its own lore! For Prismatic Spring hatchlings, this lore includes the hatchling's Star Scroll which details its real-world Zodiac and related tendencies, a unique Starname, and an "ancient" Guardian Constellation.

Q. This hatchling's lore doesn't fit with my lair's lore! What do I do?
A. The provided lore is intended to be open-ended to enable you to fit it to your own lore! However, dragons grow and change and are subject to new influences when they move to new lairs! While they were born with certain tendencies, that doesn't mean they keep them. And sometimes hatchlings will adopt, or be given, a new name to honor their new lair. You may always keep, add, change, or remove the lore as you desire!

Q. I don't want my dragon anymore. What do I do?
A. You are free to do whatever you want with your dragon, of course! Re-gene, sell, or exalt as needed. I am also open to taking the dragon back and trying to rehome it. Just send me a PM to ask!
