Tanize reminds me of a she-ra character. I think a large part of it is that awesome starfall crystalcloak which I love, but have not yet found the perfect dragon for in my own collection. I adore how you layered it with the golden silk elements from the brightshine raiments too! That skincent is the perfect addition and this fae’s soft colours are so lovely, bringing the purple from scene and familiar wonderfully blended into the otherwise pink and gold appearance. All dragons were good dragons this past arcane theme (and beyond if anyone posts late comers over the week). All received stars. The following people also earned some return compliments/responses. Trust me, I’d compliment everyone individually if I had the time, you all deserve it! -------- @Lovelock Thanks so much for the wonderful, kind words about all three of my dragons. I loved all 3 of yours as well! All 3 were definitely on the extended HM list before I had to pare it down. I couldn’t even name a favourite of the three, I love them all so much. We’ll start with Aria whose permababy status and innocent eyes with all those shiny, sparkly genes makes her simply adorable and gorgeous both. I love the deep wine of her colours all broken up by that eye-matching soft and sparkly koi - it really stands out on a permababy! Also, coatls are one of my favourite babies so there’s that too lol. I also enjoyed the little bit of lore <3 Arcadia’s got more of that awesome pearlescent-pink koi split going on and with her painted secondary blending in all that white in a similar pattern, then rounded out by a nice cool bubblegum metal - so pretty. I’m also a sucker for most of the halos - arcane included! Love the name and the lore <3 Rage is just sparkly dark space perfection. I’m a sucker for veilspuns already and just mmmhmmm love the glowing ice eye to perfectly top it all off, all the extra ice sparkles from the tertiary making the constellation stand out even more-so (as in the lines of both starmap and constellation, not just the constellation secondary lol). Also love the sparkly mane tapering off into silver. As for comfort, I think nostalgia tends to carry that sort of thing more than content, maybe? One of my favourite comfort films is listening to the movie Tremors lol (I’ve seen it so many times that these days I mostly just have it up to listen to while doing other things). I felt your dragon’s added poem was a complementary addition. No matter how beautiful, space is still cold and deadly. PS I can’t actually take too much credit for the crackle on Bijoux, until encountering the subspecies that requires it ([url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/2244205/1#post_2244205]Jewelry Box Fae[/url]), I wasn’t really a fan in most cases lol. -------- @Disillusionist Thanks again for the wonderful compliments, as always <3 I loved all 3 of yours as well this week! Of them, Jubilant was my favourite and almost made the HM list. I love the blend of arcane pinks, purple, and gold with the hefty dose of light-flight hints in the accent which blends [i]so well[/i] with the maize circuit. I don’t blame you for knee-jerk deciding he should be your arcane ambassador. I also love the enchanted libra familiar, which is a perfect match for this guy! Eventually I will find where my own starwolf belongs lol. Also also bio art <3 that exploding planet (star?) by Drytil is matched so well to this guy too! Vaniel is my second favourite. The bio with all the genealogy elements is so neat with a clean, organized appearance that makes it appeal to look at. I loved the insight into the character provided by the mood board too. That’s quite the impressive task you’re undertaking! As for the dragon herself, she wears that skin so well, especially in combination with her genes and colours. I wouldn’t have thought to throw some red in there, but it looks really good and I’m always a sucker for the plumed cover on f pose imperials. Also also love how the pink roses really bring out her arcane eyes <3 Bohrium…While I find the idea of a Pinkerlocke fascinating and this dragon is absolutely a lovely hatch result from Pinkerlocke parents. As for the event itself, I’m afraid I see “MUST exalt dragon who died in coli” and go mmmm…how about no lol. And since my attention span loves to mess with me over long, detailed instructions, I maybe find myself glossing over some of them once or twice a year and still passing. If I ever do one it might be just like [i]one[/i] dragon, privately, and it won’t be getting exalted. More power to the people who have fun with it though :D I love what you’ve done here with Bohrium’s lovely combo of purple-green colours apparel-wise. I love his lore even more. <3 -------- @HuntingAlpha Thanks so much for the compliments <3 I loved all 3 of your dragons this week too! Of them, Neha was my favourite and together with HeartofGold was on the extended HM list. I do love a good layered horn look on imperials and it looks so very nice contrasted gold to black combined with the dragons other colours such as the poison/toxin black and the near-black and gold sections of the wings. Just a lovely combination of colours. (Happy birthday fest!) I enjoyed her lore too <3 HeartofGold is a very close second, looks-wise, but bio/lore wise? Full of the win! Every win! I loved it. As for Soul, while she wasn’t on the extended HM list that’s only because I’m not [i]too horrible[/i] about making it literally ALL OF THEM lol. All that to say, she totally deserves compliments and star-boops too. I think I’ve made it no secret I adore your dragons, fandragon and not alike. Marduk was my favourite and was at the top of the extended HM list. I really love how graceful that accent looks paired with this dragons genes/colours and the rest of the apparel. I feel like it’s a combo I wouldn’t have thought to try and it works so beautifully! I’ve been slowly getting all my rep elders to level 25, though I may never actually stat and stone them. Having an apprentice counts as lore ;D Which brings us to Hecate. Such a lovely, richly coloured snapper and she looks absolutely fantastic in that gorgeous 1-2 combo of shardhide and feathery fallout. I love how you pulled on real events/trading hands and switching flights as inspiration for her lore. Love how my favourite pieces of her apparel got incorporated into her lore too :D Artemis is my second favourite and I enjoyed the story of how he came to be (villainous) as well! Love all the purple to red combos going on. Also feel free to ping me if he ever gets started on his villain arc, regardless of whether or not he goes full evil. His colours definitely say arcane (or shadow) more than wind, but still a lucky progen and you’d dealt with the mismatched green eyes nicely because that mask looks awesome with the rest of the black elements in his apparel. @Saronai Ahhh thank you so much!! When I do get back to writing lore for those three, I will definitely let you know *^^* And the element thing had to do with this chart: [img]https://i.imgur.com/C5DradT.jpg[/img] It very well could have been RNG trolling me, but I found that when I went up against enemies with an elemental slash they were weak against, I got a lot more fest drops than just scratch/eliminating. So whatever fest was going on, I’d look along the top row for that element, then select my team according to which three elements had plus marks in that column. But I can’t really utilize that method anymore since I don’t have the lair space to keep all eleven in my lair and rotating them out of my hibden would be a headache. So I just use my current team and supplement by familiar bonding during festivals. And Baldwin. Baldwin can net me a good 700-900 fest currency if I continually brew the 20 currency recipe.

As you can probably tell, Ahlrada was my favourite from your shares this theme. That being said, Ziro was on the extended HM list. The chosen apparel and those runes in particular look so awesome with Ziro’s accent.

As for Ahlrada, I really adore all the flashes of red in this outfit that I don’t think I would’ve thought to add, they really make an already beautiful dragon look pretty unique! I especially love the red rose as part of it.

I can’t really take full credit for crackle but I’m very flattered you think so. It was one of my least favourite as well until I stumbled on the Jewelry Box Fae subspecies and just had to find my favourite colour combos to breed and dress up (still have like…at least 3 more JBFs in breeding projects lol).

As for yours, obviously given Shanti got the HM, she’s my favourite from you this theme. That being said, your other two were at the top of the extended HM list and I only picked Shanti by a narrow margin.

I adore the dark galactic, magical vibes she throws off and your lore, when my brain lets me process lore is always a treat. I super love that very first art piece in her bio, in particular and you’ve just picked the best wing-capsule combo with these colours and an awesome skin, great apparel to compliment it. I’m also always a sucker for some well placed pixie/entourage <3

Animagus is such a bright beautiful sunset dream sort of imperial and I love the lore tidbit attached to the multigaze too! I particularly love how well you’ve outfitted him to accentuate that gorgeous pink-orange opal split. FYI if I ever complete my Starlight Gem light/arcane subspecies idea, he’d probably qualify (I hadn’t considered adding wasp as a primary but I’m inclined to do so). It’s all about the gorgeous two-toned opal splits and the theme of stars, prophecy, fortune telling, fate, patterns of the universe, etc. Regardless, super gorgeous boy!

Lyre is probably my second favourite from you this theme and I really adore her. Those golden grapes paired with that perfect accent and all the awesome apparel are just super aesthetically pleasing. I do tend to be picky about the grapes apparel and this is among the best uses I’ve seen for it. Doesn’t hurt that she’s wearing so many pieces I love that also go super well together. Gorgeous lady and her lore makes me love her even more <3

In fact…if I was choosing the HMs today, she would’ve been the one to make the list ahead of Shanti. They were that close. I’m vibing with her strong today.

As I’m sure you can tell, Archer was my favourite this theme and has gotten her well deserved compliment <3

Ahnvahr was easily my second favourite. Shardhide and fallout make such a great pairing, just for starters. Then you add on that accent that seems 1000% made for both pieces. Top it off with all the unearthly onyx pieces and the combination is absolute perfection. That’s all without mentioning the brilliant layering of cobwebs that ends up turning them both black! Gorgeous <3

Taurik is definitely no slacker though, he’s gorgeous too! I love all the soft pinks with light elements - the light aura and eyes just go so well with the pale yellows in that accent. Speaking of that accent, I don’t think I was aware of it before now and I don’t blame you for holding it as a favourite, it’s super gorgeous and you’ve chosen some great apparel to go with it. All of it looks so wonderful on his soft colours and genes <3

My favourites from you this week were actually a tie between Arrokoth’s wonderfully dark, but vividly arcane appearance - seriously gorgeous combination - and Alyazi’s wonderfully vibrant blues mixed in with all the traditional arcane colours and mmmm I love arcane aura so so much - she wears them so beautifully!

Loved the lore too (and Rusalka) - I too like to sometimes AU my fandragons into some fitting lore :D

As you can probably tell from the HMs Galactica was my favourite. I just love that blend of gorgeous blues and vibrant green and you really chose the absolute best apparel to let each colour shine. And even though I’ve seen and complimented her before, I somehow just didn’t realize that was *radioactive* koi doing that beautiful green/blue split (I would’ve guessed the usual sort of hot pink thing it does so I thought this was a different tertiary colour). I really do love this beautiful unicorn.

Both of your other dragons were on the extended HM list too. I love Carlottas gorgeously deep reds in harmonious combination with the dusk blues - and what an awesome familiar match. Also what a fortunate find for your breeding project! (I also pick names sometimes from things I don’t know much about, but seem relevant or have a certain aesthetic and a sound I like for the dragon lol).

Stardust is a gorgeous one too, the black in her wings makes the runescroll a great match for all the purple and gold. I had to check out the hatchling form and can absolutely see the spot you’re talking about. So cute!
