[size=4]The trees appear to be moving.
This is nothing like the branches of the Starwood swaying in the breeze; the trees themselves are walking. Step by step, long forgotten dragons return to the land where the night sky has settled. They had foretold new hatchlings would be arriving.
With wings outstretched, frozen by opalescent bark, they walk into view. Two Wildclaws, afflicted by... something, stand proudly in front of the other seers.
"Are we too late?" The Wildclaw with larger branches sprouting from his scales asks.
Elsewhere knew these folks better than most. In the past, late at night, he'd whisk away to the depths of the Starwood Strand to train under the tutelage of Leonid, the dragon who had just spoken. Back then, Leonid's scales had just solidified. He was nothing like this walking tree he now sees before him, but Elsewhere can't recall who they were anyways.
The others aren't happy to see them. As far as Misshapen, Dawn, and Dusk had been concerned, Proteus and Leonid had sabotaged their friend in the past, urging him to use more magic to power his visions than he previously had been. His memory is unstable as a result, and these two newcomers were to blame.
Seeing as they were not welcome back, Proteus and Leonid turn to leave with a shrug. They could not spread their wisdom here.

These two wandering Wildclaws are also seers. They can peer into the past, present and future at will. Their magic, like the other Starwood Seers, is powered by the stars and trees around them. After years of abusing the source, patches of bark had grown over their scales, and branches have grown over their wings.
No longer limited by the locale of the Starwood Strand, they travel Sornieth, interfering with events foretold by their visions. The trees on their backs allow them to reach their full potential, even when far away from the land rich in Arcane magic.
Their hatchlings are blessed by the Starwood Strand, magically and physically. They hatch from their eggs with patches of opalescent bark on their scales, but the affliction doesn't seem to be growing. Yet.
Sign up for the pinglist for Proteus and Leonid's hatchlings below! Every so often, their hatchlings change flight as their parents wander Sornieth. Right now, they are in Dragonhome after leaving the Starwood Strand once more, meaning the hatchlings will be born with Earth eyes. There is no waitlist for these hatchlings, and will be FCFS, since I am looking to keep a very specific hatchling. I will ping everyone on their specific pinglist when they become available![/center]

Added myself to the pinglist. I love everything about this, the lore the asthetic. I may be on vacation in plague (to rent nests lol), but it's no secret I started out in arcane and miss adore those spacy trees.
