This is super cool! One thing for the faq I'd add is the reminder that progens cannot be sent in for training, since I have seen that come up as an issue on occasions, especially when dealing with large numbers of newbies. I might be willing to train for this every now and then when I have spare time, I hope you get lots of service and donations :3

In a nutshell, dominance is Flight Rising's exalting system turned competitive. Exaltation is used to solve the bloat of extra dragons throughout the site by removing them in a way, and (almost) every exalt adds to the dominance counter. You can see the leaderboards on the leftmost bar, under the dominance tab.
Exalting is a fantastic way of making money, but many users wait until their flight has a push to try and earn dominance! For further details on when your flight, Earth, is doing it, I'd check out the Earth Dominance Forums.
