@ShatteredOutlier I'd love something! I do prefer non-rhyming, but I don't mind rhyming.
Here are a few, feel free to poke through my lair if none of them catch your eye!

Satori- she has such positive vibes it immediately made me want to write something sad
when the sun went down
after the last rose petal fell
she knew.
she knew time, the sweet precious thing
was draining from her claws
she knew that one day her joints would ache
that her eyes would fail to see the sunrise
that she could no longer feel the velvety petals
from the flowers that stopping blooming last season.
she knew her scales were growing paler,
that the hatchlings she helped rear didn't need her assistance
and that something much more peaceful, much more quiet,
called to her.
she knew when her time came
that she wouldn't fight
that she'd lay down as her mother did, but not before
passing the crown to another
another with the same bright, young eyes she once had.
that day wasn't today, but it was soon,
and as the chilly night set in
Satori curled up extra tight
for as long as her heart beat
she would spread spring to all
Sebastian
Seeds flourished and fragrances splattered
across the shop, a fine scent sifting through the wind.
Flocks of customers spent seconds that felt like small eternities
peering over his wares, wonder and awe,
fear gone in the face of his warm shop.
Who dare leave without taking fancy to one of his special
flowers, who seemed sad without a home. Surely,
someone, anyone would take home a fungus or a fruit,
smiling as they placed it on a windowsill, waiting for the day
new shoots shot up, fragrance blooming in their own homes
It was this joy he farmed, of customers returning for a friend
for the beacon of hope in their homes
And a much happier poem lol. let me know what you think! Feel free to dm me or @ me here if you'd like more, it's been ages since I've written poetry and I'm having fun
