“Sharing is caring.” Riegan smiles at the Guardian. The Fae had immediately left to work, but Riegan doesn’t know anything about repairing houses so he’ll help out Madani.
“We found a lot of stuff yesterday, there’s got to be useful material lying around.” He puts himself on Scavenging duty, looking for small logs and planks. He also finds ropes and two types of tailhair. One super soft, the other rough, both seem handy.
He gets really into it, stacking planks after planks and collecting tiny feathers and branches. He also discovers a box filled with wrenches, maybe Pavo will know what to do with these?

Today Bendenth was enjoying himself. He loved to build, he loved the heat, and he was enjoying the feathered wildlife singing and fluttering around, so much more plentiful here than on the Windswept Plateau. Before setting out from camp that morning he had casually dropped some "extra" tail hairs behind, to encourage the birds in their nest building, being quite aware that the extra activity at the ruined site nearby was disruptive. He'd thought he might need it for lashing, but he'd seen the supply of lumber coming in, and realized they'd be doing some better construction than that! Why, they even had wiring on hand! Sure, he was no Lightning dragon, but this was a challenge he could get into!

Following along with the Tree Parents today is a furtive little green mop. A pair of yellow eyes roll around to take in the newly exposed plaza, and then fix on the noisy pair in the centre.
Tilting her head, she lowers her neck and circles warily around the arguing siblings. Studying their body language, she experimentally raises a lip to show her sharp teeth.
"Stinky! No, no, now lets not be like that, please!" Sweetbark's mothering voice cuts over the bickering as she hurries up to draw the feral old fae away.
"This is... stinky. Please forgive her manners, she's still adjusting to the company of other dragons, so we thought this would be a good experience for her. What she lacks in social skills she makes up for in practical ones. She's got a good pair of claws when it comes to thatching, which is just what we need today!"
Approaching more calmly is Honeyheart, bearing bundles of reeds for laying fresh thatch roofing. Waterproof and long-lasting if laid correctly, the tufts of seed fluff at the ends will make fantastic nesting for little critters, and he proceeds to trim the ends off and set them aside before passing each bundle up to his mate and her "protege".
Stinky (they have been trying to convince her to take a new name, now that she's not living with wild beasts) soon forgets to keep eyeballing every dragon that comes near as she settles into her work. With almost alarming speed she darts about twisting and weaving a remarkable roof. She's used to sleeping rough, and getting through the hard seasons depends a great deal on one's ability to make a good shelter. She hisses with satisfaction as they finish up with one structure, and then peers down at the bogsneak below them.
"Beeeee-Man."
He waves up at them and they move on to the next structure. As they go, a small swarm of bees leave the cloud perpetually hovering around him, and spiral up into the branches of a nearby tree.

Delta opened the satchel that strung over her shoulder to pull out a few items she had picked up along the way and hadn't known what to do with. Some pretty feathers would probably make the animals here happier than her, so she left them in the designated location. She also picked up a couple boards of wood and a hammer. She didn't exactly know what she was doing, but someone would probably tell her what to do...

Dicentra is especially glad Fasciatia had found her the previous day, and wanted to continue to help, as today there was much more work to be done. Keeping on top of both repairs and settling wildlife would have been too much to do effectively on her own, but with Fasciatia they could split the tasks.
Her friends were a little too scatterbrained for Dicentra to entrust solid repair work to them, so she stuck to this herself. She wasn't particularly experienced in DIY, but there were many other dragons helping out around the site that she could ask for help and tips. She learnt much during the day, and this whole venture was making her a much more confident dragon.

Meanwhile, Fasciatia was in charge of trying to get the wildlife resettled after all of the disturbance. It didn't feel like work at all for Fasci, who adored bugs and happily gathered worms to settle into the freshly turned soil. Aysha had some difficulty getting her to focus on the needs of animals besides insects, but they gathered twigs and bark without much argument as it was sound nesting material and good bug homes.

You’ve made it past half the week already! A soothing thought, after all the hard work - most of the deed is done by now, and there’s only a few days to go.
If that isn’t enough to revitalize you a bit, the first thing you see when arriving at the usual site today is a bright green and cyan eyecatcher of a dragon, trotting left and right with a spring in her step, rounding everyone up.
As she spots you as a new face, she gestures to you to come as well.
[columns][nextcol]
"Glad to have you, everyone! I’m Amela.
Some of you certainly already noticed that there’s a pond nearby. It once fed into the Gladeveins, but it’s clogged up and in pretty bad shape in general. But it’s the closest water source - or would be, were it better off - and also an important environment. Some frogs and such still live there, but the fish have largely died off by now… So, I’d like you all to join me in cleaning it up today! It’s a pretty large one, so it’ll take some time, but it’s a bit cooler there at least, for those of you struggling with the climate.
Come, come, the wisps lead the way. We’ll leave some here to guide later arrivals."[/columns]
With that, some of the bright blue flames that have been idly glowing close to her light up brighter and float off, the group of dragons following.
True to her words, the rest of the wisps gather at the plaza and stay back to wait and welcome possible late risers.

Water is the most precious resource, for every being alike!
Please help clean up the waters today,
remove junk, algae overgrowth and other remains
and maybe help stocking up the pond with new life as well.

@Mandragorum
hello! I sent in some items for today (Day 5) and checked the spreadsheet for yesterday's items. I don't see my name for Day 4 (I believe that's Wednesday?) and I was wondering if those will be inputted at a later date? I don't mind if so! irl stuff would obviously be a priority-
thank you! :D

Fasciatia has a lot of fun catching frogs and fish to introduce to the little streams and ponds on site. After all of Dicentra's hard and boring work yesterday, Aysha is sure make her participate in the especially rewarding part of releasing the little critters into their new homes.
But soon enough, Dicentra is beavering away with determination, nearly falling in the water trying to remove stubborn reeds choking up the pond. When Dicentra cuts herself on a fishing tool, long lost in the undergrowth, Fasciatia can no longer stand idle when it comes to the less fun work. Their claws are longer and finer - better suited to picking through rubbish with minimal risk.
"You have to wash that," Aysha orders, worry making her a bit blunter than she intended.
"And not in pond water," Fasci adds with a smile. "Do you want us to go with you?"
"Or we'll wait here and clean up," Aysha is quick to add. She's been known to weasel her way out of things in the past, and Dicentra knew them better than anyone. She didn't want her friend to think they were exploiting her injury just to get out of work.
"Thank you," Dicentra says, touched. "I'm sure I'll be able to find my way and I'll be right back!"
Fasci pouts to her sister when they are alone.
"Is she testing us?"
Aysha rolls her eyes. "Let's just get to it."
