1. Each day, PM DismasYves 10kt/g as a participation fee. (It's okay to send all 70kt/g in one go if you want!)
2. Using the prompt given, either write some lore (3+ sentences) or draw a sketch related to the location (scroll down for some ideas!). For a bonus challenge, roll a 4-sided die and use the day's event table to determine what strange and wacky event takes place! (You can also choose an event if one catches your eye!)
   Edit: Make sure you are writing from the pov of one of your dragons! If you don't have any lore dragons, feel free to use your pfp :)
3. Post your creation here! (Note for newbies: images not already on Flight Rising must be uploaded to a different image hosting website to be seen on the forums. I use Imgur, but I've heard ImgBB, flickr and Tumblr work as well.)
4. If you miss a day, you can make it up by sending 20kt/g and posting your creation. If you prepaid, no need to send any additional late fee!

• As per Flight Rising ToS, AI-generated art will not be allowed in this event.
• If the entry fee is not paid, you may not claim the respective badges and the raffle ticket will be forfeit for any unpaid days.
• Participation for each day will earn 1 ticket toward the raffle, and players may win at most 1 prize. Numbers will be pulled via random.org.

Those that were draped in darkness become protectors, guardians of the dream against worse nightmares." "We worked together to keep the dream safe for those that had once thought of us, the dragons of the real world that had granted us life. But that was then. Now..." "Now, a curse has been placed over the world, drowning them in eternal slumber. With the line between the dream and reality blurred, we were able to take our first steps out into the real world. There is a small snack table against the wall full of interesting goodies: imaginary tea, steaming hot with a faint floral aroma; mini mud pies baked to a crispy perfection; even a bowl of leaf salad that features fresh-fallen autumn leaves with a healthy topping of acorns. After a while, the Director returns alongside two figments, both seemingly inspired by plushies or patchwork dolls. "These two will serve as experienced members of your group," she says. Pulled into the void by the whitest white, she watched her new archnemesis prowl.[/i] [/columns] ----- She saw a strange dragon, one that looked not quite real but not quite false. Her archnemesis had walked up to the dragon, who spoke to her although the words couldn't quite come to mind. The white abyss creature gazed too from behind her, creating an incomprehensible noise that sounded faintly Hainu and faintly Serthis. She wasn't draconic and appeared clearly chitinous, but wasn't fully removed from dragonkind, and clearly first impressions were less than impressive. Rufina had a sinister scheme she could sense from a mile away, before seemingly succumbing to the same being that had terrorized the place for some time already. Now that everyone she believed in had disappeared somehow, she left to find another place to be. [/columns] ----- Eventually, through slumbering dragons and through a series of unpredictable beings she had chosen to avoid, Petylin arrived. Surprisingly to her, everything she did felt much more tangible, more legible. She spoke to the Director, who underneath her many voices could make out her answer that she was from the light. Despite this, interacting with the figment was far more comfortable compared to whispering in the dreams of dragons. Choosing to take imaginary tea for herself, she lapped up the drink before the arrival of the two plush creatures. She chose to speak to Lullaby and to the dark figment, asking each of the two a question. She asked Lullaby if there were different abilities between light and dark figments. Then, she asked the dark figment if there were any important rules she should know about now. Whatever their answers were, Petylin chose to head back to the waiting room when she heard something about a nightmare. She approached the dragon speaking, making sure to keep her distance as she eavesdropped to hear what other information she could obtain from them before leaving this place.

Even on the spot, I make my choice with ease and certainty. "Dark." For all my life I've been an observer in the dreams of others. I cannot shape them--that particular form of lucidity beyond my grasp within another's mind--so it only makes sense to serve as a guardian of those dreamscapes instead. The waiting room disorients me. The artifical landscape of the walls is unnatural, uncanny. Those sheep...just cartoonish enough to feel neither real nor dreamlike, despite the presumed intent. Even the silent aberration with its tilting heads and button eyes unsettles me less. I look forward to leaving this place and getting on with the mission. [/columns]
