Hi from Taiwan! Been busy with school and this year’s admittedly very ambitious projects. Filming for the Evolution of the Mamianqun video project in LA has concluded, just wanted to share some behind the scenes pics and clips while we’re waiting on footage and working on editing :)
As a recap the end goal is a 5-10 minute video kind of like Glamour’s 100 years of beauty going through the evolution of the Mamianqun from the southern Song to end of the Ming dynasty! We did filming over two ~10 hour days. This has been a massive collab of coincidence involving Cloud9 Hanfu, MAISON at Yale, qiuqiuchinese on Tiktok/Douyin/Instagram, Lizi Studio in LA, and the Forbidden Boutique also based in LA!
