I’m a lot of things, really, but I’m mostly just a giant nerd who runs on caffeine and guts.

In all seriousness, I [Steph] am a working historian and archivist (M.S. in library science at Pratt SILS, class of December 2014) whose research areas are railroads, baseball, and comedy, which are strange enough as it is. As an archivist, I preserve old things that most people don’t even care about looking at but some people think are really cool. I did my undergraduate work at Gettysburg College, where I majored in history and minored in Civil War Era Studies. I’m also the founder of the Autistic Gaming Initiative, a monthly charity livestream done by autistic people for autistic people (benefiting ASAN and AWN).
My interests are pretty wide and varied, and you’ll see a lot of them on this blog. My hobbies include writing and drawing, so be prepared to be inundated with stupid cartoons from time to time. Don’t say you weren’t warned. Do tell me your birthday, though, because I’ll be sure to draw you a birthday present!
In order to keep things in order (I am an archivist, after all), here’s an extensive tag list of the things I post about most often by category. Think of it as a finding aid of sorts.
