((Mod note: Weeeeee’re baaaaaack! Sorry for the long delay, real life kinda… happened. Main artist suddenly had work, which got REALLY BUSY! More on this in a bit!))

Well, that’s the Captain’s Computer all up-to-date! Hopefully I won’t get so many messages asking how to do the most basic of things… CC, you’re going to save me so much hassle!

((Mod notes: So! After a bit of a rather long delay, we’re back! As mentioned, the artist suddenly had a very busy job right around when our regular updates stopped coming. Real life has that annoying habit of just, well, happening sometimes :p

Still, life is considerably less busy, for now! Business in that regard will pick up again later, but for the next few months we have a bit more free time! That being the case, we will shortly be opening  for commissioned updates. Basically, we’ll be letting you guys pay to have Paper Clip come sort your problems - by which we mean, for a nominal fee, you can have us do a simple, one or two panel update, where we have Paper Clip come and attend to your computer woes. No job too great or too small! (No refunds if you get the harsh side of her tongue though, that’s part of who she is!)

Details to follow shortly - we’ll post them up separately so you can know exactly what you’re letting yourself in for ;)

Well, it took a long long time, but hopefully now you’ve all got a little bit of closure ;)

Is this the last you’re going to see of Brit, you might ask? Probably not - but if you want to keep up with Paper Clip (and by extension, catch a glimpse of Brit and her cohorts now and again), you’ll want to follow the main Ask Paper Clip blog where this is reblogged from!

That’s it for now from us here on Ask Brit - we may post again occasionally here and there when Brit pops up elsewhere, of course. Thanks again for sticking with us, folks :)

Sounds like the Captain has had quite the adventure! …I didn’t need to know about our colleagues in the Night Guard’s appetite for seafood though… blugh!

MOD: Hey everyone, we’re back! Thanks for your patience while we’ve been working through this. We wanted to make sure we did this justice as best we could - we know there are plenty of you who were wondering how that whole thing panned out.

Also, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind y’all, we have a Patreon! You can support our works there by becoming a patron, and in return you’ll get sneak peeks and behind the scenes info made available exclusively first on Patreon and nowhere else, for this comic and the other projects I’m involved in! It’s a pretty sweet deal, and it helps us pay the bills ;)

And now you all know what happened… it was quite the adventure. We might tell this story in more detail, some day…

ask-paper-clip:

It’s time to set you loose on those that need you, CC…

MOD NOTE: Hey everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying these longer comic style posts and the development we’re giving PC! I’d like to draw your attention to something I’ve set up recently, for those of you wanting to show your appreciation.
As you may know, Paper Clip is basically a two-person labour of love. It’s just me and my fiancée for the most part, with me doing the story and her doing the art. Neither of us gets paid for doing it - nor do I get paid for writing the scripts I do for the other comics I write.

I’d like to change that, but unless I get hired some time soon by a big name, that’s not gonna change much. That’s where you guys come in. We’ve set up a Patreon where you can show your support. We’ve got some perks available as well, so you won’t be giving your money to us for nothing.

It can be found here: https://www.patreon.com/Robot_Pony_Comics

You don’t have to sign up of course: PC will always be free to view and enjoy. But the support would be greatly appreciated!

Well well, looks like the good IT Chief is going to make life a little less frustrating…

ask-paper-clip:

Hmm, it’s time to call on one of my more… interesting customers…

HOLY COW, AN UPDATE!?!?

Well… yes, and no. Some of you maybe already knew that for a while some of us have been working on our own side projects and such, and we did say some time ago that, maybe, one day we’d come back to Brit.

And, here we are. This is not exactly a return, but it’s worth knowing that half of the original art/script team for Ask brit are working on this - and, for this particular script, the original three of us that used to put all of our time and energy into Britty got back together to write the script for this forthcoming little exchange.

We hope you enjoy what’s to come as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together for you!

(And while you’re about it, go follow Paper Clip - and pester her with your questions! Just… don’t say you weren’t forewarned about possible snark.)

(Oh and this probably won’t be the last you’ll see of our Britty. She’ll no doubt show up again, sooner or later!)
