The BUCK team is proud to announce the attendance of Dave Polsky to BUCK 2014!
Dave is a seasoned writer of Friendship is Magic, with episodes dating back to Feeling Pinkie Keen from season one, Over a Barrel from season two, and many more from season three and four. His work also includes Scary Movie 2 and the upcoming Sonic Boom.
Dave will be hosting his own workshop to talk about how his episodes are made – from the finished product on the screen, right back to a passing idea on a notepad. Don’t miss this chance for a unique insight into the production of our favourite pastel pony show!
And if that tickles your fancy, don’t forget that we’ll also have workshops from G.M. Berrow – author of the My Little Pony chapter books – and from IDW Comic Colourist, Heather Breckel.
Also attending BUCK this summer are Legends of Equestria: The pony massively multiplayer RPG that the fandom has eagerly watched since it’s conception.
The LoE team will be showing you the latest features in the game, how they have been developed, and what’s still to come. They’ll also be taking questions and discussion on the project as a whole, so don’t miss it!

BUCK ANNOUNCES HEATHER BRECKEL, THE LIVING TOMBSTONE, AND MORE!
INCLUDING PERFORMANCES FROM LAVENDER HARMONY AND ICKY
BUCK is proud to announce our next wave of guests, one of many more waves still to come!
Joining us from Ohio, America is freelance colourist Heather Breckel - well known for her work on the wildly successful My Little Pony comic series, as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Adventures, both for IDW.
When she’s not coloring, she’s drawing her own comics and playing with her cats. You can see more of her work on her deviantART account!
Heather will be running a demonstration of her skills and methods at BUCK 2014, comic fans and artists alike should be sure to attend!
We’re also thrilled to announce the return of the Summer Sun Celebration, and the announcement of our first headline act, The Living Tombstone.
Tombstone will be coming all the way from Israel to be with us for the second year running. As one of the community’s most well known electronic musicians, you’ll be hearing classic tracks, remixes, and as he is currently working on yet another album, expect some brand new material too!
If that’s not enough, returning to the stage are Lavender Harmony and Icky, also favourites from last year’s Summer Sun Celebration.
