Fast shipping, bad assembly

It was fast shipping. However the steering wheel was not mounted properly and I almost immediately fell off the bike because of it. The original user manual of the bike is also for some reason not included. It would have been nice to get contacted about option add a lock etc.

I have not seen any reviews in English…

I have not seen any reviews in English , so I am going to write this for my international fellas.

I have no clue how I came across them on the internet, but when I opened their webpage, I was not sure if it was a legitimate business as the website is badly designed and the bike I was looking for was really cheap. So, I came here, read some comments and then headed their Facebook page to check and wrote a message to the page.

Jonas (I assume the owner) responded in a pretty short time with a clear answer. I asked them if they had the bike I wanted, or they were going to order. He told me that they would be able to ship it the next day if I were to order it the day of conversation. So, I did that. They unfortunately could not ship it the next day for some reason, yet Jonas apologized with a message explaining the situation. As it felt sincere, I was okay with that. It happens.

They shipped the bike the other day and packed it very well, so that it would not get any scratches of any kind. The only part that made me not so happy is that the bike was shipped in the box of another bike. So, it had some accessories that did not belong to the bike itself and was missing the pad spacer for the brake pistons. It was a slight annoyance to miss that, but it is a relatively minor piece that can be replaced easily, and I did not even bother to write him for that.

After receiving the bike, I messed up badly while trying to mount the pedals and wrote him a message about it as I though they also had some responsibility, which I was wrong and had the full fault. Anyways, he helped me as much as he can with messages. During this whole process, I felt that he was sincere, and it matters a lot.

Apart from being friendly, as they also have good prices on bikes, I actively recommend them to my friend and colleagues especially when they have offers. I really wish that I bought the bike later though, they have such amazing deals these days.

So in short, pros: sincere, helpful and fast service along with good prices; cons: bike shipping costs are paid by the customer unlike their competitors, if an old model is ordered, the box might belong to another bike, which may result in mix ups of minor accessories.

PS. I do LOTS OF online shopping and I can say that they were one of the good businesses I shopped from.

I am very happy that you (overall) are satisfied with our service. And I really hope you was able to fix the problem with the pedals?
We always ship the bike with instructions on how to correctly mount the pedals. Granted it is in Danish!

The reason we ship the bike in another box is that the bike is not completely assembled and adjusted from the factory. The wheels, handlebars and gears in not installed and adjusted. This of Couse means that the manufacturer can ship the bike in a small box.
When we ship our ”webshop” bikes the bike is almost completely assembled. The wheels and gears are installed and adjusted which result in that the bike cannot fit into the original box.

Fortunately, all the ebikes we receive are packed in much larger boxes and because of that we can ship our bikes in a e-bike box – of another brand than the bike our costumers purchased in the first place.

The padspaceres on the bikes are used for transportation with the wheels removed. We ship the bike with the wheels installed, that is why you don’t get any padspaceres.

As I recall we were not able to ship your bike the following day because our mechanics had to many bikes to assemble that day. I am very sorry about that, but it was just impossible to finish all the bikes on that particularly day.

I hope this clarifies why the bikes were shipped in a different box and I hope to see you on bikeworld.dk again.
