In early January I visited the Clarks Shoe Store (see location below). I was served by Alison A.
I could not have had better service. Alison tried everything she could to find a suitable pair of shoes to me. She was so friendly and helpful and really seemed to enjoy her job and dealing with customers.
I am unable to remember when I ever received such fantastic service. (I am 82 years old, and I have seen standards drop over the years.) That was not the case on this occasion though. Well done to Clarks for their staff selection policies.
I felt so strongly about this that I wished to bring it to someone’s attention. Please pass on my comments to Alison.

I had to take a pair of shoes back to Merryhill Clarks, which my granddaughter had only worn for 4 weeks. The leather was peeling off them and they were not to the usual Clarks standard at all.
Leah, the sales assistant, was brilliant from start to finish. She was welcoming and sympathetic to my reason for bringing the shoes back. She checked with her supervisor but was able to give me a new pair of the same style with no problem at all. I was extremely impressed with Leah’s customer service skills and asked for details of how I could do a review for her. At no time did she make me feel that my granddaughter was at fault, which can be the way sometimes, when returning faulty goods.
Thank you Leah for such a good experience.

Tried to place an online order, kept getting a prompt to use a 10% discount code.
When I did this, the 20% discount for purchasing two pairs was removed, increasing the price. Couldn't reverse, complained to customer service. No response whatsoever, other than an email a week or so later asking me to rate the customer service response.
At least the option was to rate from 0 to 10, rather than 1 to 10.

Mother bought me two pairs of footwear from Clark’s shoes and boots. Whilst at work I went down on one knee to do up my shoelaces.
When I stood up, I found the souls come off both of my boots, which was very embarrassing.
Luckily I had a pair of trainers in the car, but the shoe so soles came right off the boots.
I contacted Clark’s to explain what happened and they said to send them pictures of the boots, which I did then they said we want a purchased order or receipt.
I said I haven’t got that, because it was a birthday present, they said we can’t help you unless you have that so all I can say to everybody out there do not buy Clarks shoes or boots, because the adhesive on them is cheap and nasty and doesn’t last and it’s very embarrassing for Clark’s as a company to sell boots or shoe low Quality so all I can say to Clark’s is cheap nasty rubbish they shouldn’t be selling it and they should be shut down.
Completed a quality lean management 6 Sigma course, Clarks was not listed as one of the companies that sells quality products. 

Catherine at the Carmarthen store assisted me and was very helpful. Full marks for customer service.

The 3 members of staff were on devices or phones at the checkout and never engaged with the customers to get sizes etc...
My sister has cancer and needed help with sizes due to medication affecting her feet. They had zero interest in communicating with her or any other customer. We left.

Return process is horrible; you have to send an email to customer support for a return label and after a week no news so I had to call customer service and wait 45 min The rep was unpleasant and you could hear a bunch of background noise and people. I will never order online again.

Yesterday I got a pair of Clarks (K shoes) sandals out of the cupboard. I probably bought them a couple of years ago but had not worn them. They still had the price label on. I picked them up to remove the label and the heels just disintegrated. Lumps of black stuff just fell off. Obviously they are unwearable although the uppers are pristine.

I ordered a pair of shoes in the sale although a lot of reviews said they came up too narrow. But they fitted me perfectly. They came 2 days after ordering even though they quoted 5. Very satisfied

Served by Tina at the Wolverhampton branch, exceptional customer service, product knowledge and how the mechanics of the Clarks system worked.

Purchased two pairs of shoes, both at a good price and of a high quality.

Many thanks for your help Tina, it made all the difference in my decisions to purchase the shoes.

For example, I didn't like a pair of boots I'd seen on display, but you fetched a similar pair out of stock which I liked and fitted like a glove.

I ordered a pair of Clarks shoes online, which never got delivered, after ringing
Clarks they decided they got ‘lost’
and would send out another pair via a different carrier, I was told they would arrive on Friday 4th April. I rang today in the 7th as nothing has arrived to be told, nothing has been sent out, and it was mid-communication by the chap that they would send out a 2nd pair. They said they would refund my money, though this will take between 7 to 10 days! They aren’t cheap and to have to wait that long for nearly £70 is ridiculous.
How come the store Next can refund within two days.
And change your courier.

Its tough buying shoes for kids, and when you are a busy parent its something I dread.

Gina and her staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us and they turned what is normally a difficult process into something that lit up my daughters face. Well done!

riverside road norwich ,chris was fanatic , caring , friendly .make me ,and all the other customs ,feel special. wish all shop workers was like him .

The staff in Enfield work together as a very good team. Bought some trainers on Saturday when the store was very busy. Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable about what they are selling and efficient. It's very well run and shopping there was an enjoyable experience.

Helpful friendly staff who know their products

Went into the clarkes shoe shop in Trafford centre, Manchester. I asked the staff for size 11 shoes. The attendant Shiffah was so so helpful. She was pleasant and when requested she happily brought three different pairs to choose from. Shiffah was amazing sales person with such a nice personality. I bought the shoe and left the store happy. The service was beyond my expectation despite so much rush on sunday. I will give 5 stars to Shiffah. Outstanding.

-Not all sizes available in store when they know very well their shoes are in demand especially before school reopens.
- Happy with wide-fit fit but not worth the stress anymore.

Clarks service is very helpful delivered with
enthusiasm and cheer. Both Kayleigh and Maria
at Broughton Chester Shopping Park store were keen
to help. The 2 pairs of shoes purchased are up to
the high standard I always experience from Clarks
like the service

What a delight to be served by Sienna at the Didcot store today. She was polite and helpful when I wanted to buy my grandaughter a pair of sandals. Needless to say she found an ideal pair which my grandaughter liked and so Sienna had a sale!

Kathrine at Didcot store was very helpful. Managing to find a suitable pair to fit my wife who has one foot about half a size bigger than the other one. Nothing was too much trouble, even though she was serving several customers at once. She even talked us into buying some stain guard!
