Very impressed

Chris was professional, polite and engaging. He took the time to understand the issue and provided a good solution. He was thorough and when the initial solution needed enhancement he offered an alternative. Very impressed. I don't impressed easily.

We had an issue with a unit from Oak…

We had an issue with a unit from Oak furniture land. A technician was sent to resolve the issue. On arrival he removed his shoes & my wife thanked him as we had just had very expensive carpets fitted. He looked at the issue & said he could sort it & went to go to his van he put his shoes on in the house & trampled mud all over the new carpet. He said it will come out. He came back with a spray & sprayed the unit top, the smell wan terrible. He the said it was done, I looked & said it wasn’t any different he said that’s how it is I said I have 3 other pieces of the same range & they are perfect he said it is real wood & we obviously aren’t used to having real wood furniture very condescending I said I had sent photos to Oak furniture land & they said there was an issue he said they aren’t cabinet makers there no fault & he went. In my experience if you get offered this company to come out to resolve an issue with your furniture say no they are a disgrace

Punctual, friendly and brilliant

Tony was punctual, friendly and brilliant at rectifying the issue with our SCS sofa (even though we were the last call of the day). He got to work straight away recognising what the issue was, stripping back the sofa, tightening the springs and replacing the cover. Took his shoes off without us asking and didn't make a mess. Lovely chap, and an asset to the Emmiera Group team.

If you have an issue with a bent recliner mechanism do not use them

Contacted them confirming issue with bent mechanism for recliner, not electrics, paid £85, engineer came out and said they don't cover or repair bent mechanisms, not one of their services. Apparently lots of people make the same mistake....... What ?£84 lighter on no further on. Should have told me rather than confirming on the phone that they covered it. Need to take that section off your website too...

Passed to Emmiera group after very poor service from our furniture provider, can only praise this company for friendliness, efficiency and providing a very skilled contractor to repair my floor within a week of this group taking over my claim .

A "Spring" Disaster: Furniture Village & Emmiera Group Miss the Mark

I thought I was getting a repair, but I ended up with a musical instrument.

The Logistics: Contact center cancelled my original booking last minute & "out of the blue", then forced me to rebook via their portal & wait an additional two weeks .
When the technician (who was super nice) from Emmiera Group arrived (sent by Furniture Village), they openly admitted their company didn't hold the correct spring size for my sofa but would "make it work."
Spoiler alert: It doesn’t work.
Because the replacement spring is the wrong size, it sits noticeably lower than the originals. The result?
• Unbalanced Support: You sit at a slant.
• The Sound Effects: Every time I stand up, the sofa greets me with a loud, metallic “BOING.” It’s clear that "making it work" is just code for "Emmiera Group make me do it wrong." If you’re looking for a professional repair that actually restores your furniture to its original state, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I didn't pay for a sofa that sounds like a pogo stick.
