Simple and quick, especially using PayPal.

I’ve had my Freddy & Co play mat for just under 6 months and already there are three areas where it has torn. This has exposed the inner foam, which is now developing mould. For something that cost $200, I expected far greater durability and longevity.

My children don’t use sharp toys or anything rough on the mat, they mostly sit, read, or relax on it, so the damage is very disappointing. I also purchased a play mat from Munchkin & Bear at the same time, and the difference is night and day. The Munchkin & Bear mat has proven far more durable, and its colour has stayed vibrant, whereas the Freddy & Co mat has faded noticeably.

Overall, $200 for a mat that lasted only 6 months is unacceptable. If you’re considering a play mat, I would strongly recommend avoiding Freddy & Co and opting for Munchkin & Bear instead.

Absolutely beautiful designs, I love that I can have something beautiful but then flip it over and have a fun and interactive design for my kids to play with. I get very overstimulated by visual spaces that are busy so the ability to swap it so easily by flipping it over is a life saver.

Tore in the first 7 months of purchase! The guy gave me a call to let me know that we would have inflicted external damage to the mat for it to tear up. The tear is really small and no we don’t take sharp objects into our baby’s room. He also said his wife’s engagement ring caused one product to tear a while ago but then within a few minutes he also said that they have done a lot of tests to prevent the design from ripping on its own. What kind of an engagement ring tears a mat? Just very contradictory. Scam at least for me because I did not even get 7 months' worth of value out of this rather “good quality” expensive $190.00 playmat. Hope this review helps anyone considering the purchase.

It would be helpful if the measurements for each mat were in the individual product descriptions. I felt I had to dig around a bit to find the dimensions on the site.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Freddy and Co playmat and so does my daughter. Hours of fun to be had on our mat. Great quality, feels soft to touch and well supported foam. Easy to clean and keep clean. Our Freddy & co playmat is so soft and spongy- everyone who comes over can’t help but lay down on it! It was the only place my baby would let me lay her happily when she was a newborn and now she is rolling, it’s a safe space for her to learn to move. It’s also a comfy spot for my 3 year old to play, build and do art. She can eat her snacks on the mat when she doesn’t want to sit at the table and any mess is cleaned up in a jiffy. I think this is probably our most useful baby item!

Follow up: the company has since been in contact, offered me a full refund, and organised pick up and delivery of the product.

Very unhappy with my experience with this company. I purchased a mat and followed all of the guidelines to stop it from rolling up. This went on for months of trial and error with little success. Finally, desperate, I emailed the company and told them what I’ve tried, they just kept replying detailing trying things I’d already told them I tried but none the less I tried again to supply them with photo evidence. Now I am left with a mat that can only be used in the side up we don’t prefer or it is a trip hazard. Do not purchase from this company.

Shipping was very expensive. And the mat I wanted was out fo stock with no inducation of when it would be back in stock.
