Absolute Rubbish
As usual - a "New improved design" means you get less for more. They are thinner and don't unfold when you pull them out of the packet which is exactly what you don't need when you have a child wriggling around Infront of you covered in poo. You can either mess around trying to unpick and unfold every individual wipe or just use a half sized folded one and use twice as many. Absolutely hopeless!
Quality DIVE ~ from EXCELLENT to UNNACEPTABLE.
Having used Huggies PURE Baby Wipes for so many years, and been 100% happy with them....
I cannot believe their now very low standard.
What has happened to them??? They are so thin, I cannot separate them in the packet. The bear was embossed on every sheet. That's gone too. They have to be doubled up to use now. So disappointed!!! Will be changing my brand for sure.
Changed the perfect product to absolute sh…t
Since they changed the wipes I wish I could give them no star at all! They were the best ones on the market by far and some genius decided to change a great product into the worst product on the market. What a joke! I use the wipes for everything, I mean like 5-10 packs a week since 16 years and now I will never buy them again unless they go back to what they were
Why have you changed them
Why have you changed them? Absolutely rubbish. Thin , dry and i struggle to get the out ! Ive used huggies for years, but im afraid ill have to get another brand . Will not buy again .. rubbish
In with the OLD and out with the NEW.......please!
There was nothing like the "OLD" huggies - the new ones are awful! In with the OLD and out with the NEW....... please! Otherwise I will have to find another product.
Now WORST ON MARKET award goes to HUGGIES
Been using Huggies natural wipes daily for YEARS for many different tasks. I KNOW we should all be behind plastic free products but come on. Was there even any effort at all made to keep even the teeniest bit of quality to the product? The jump from best on the market to quite literally THE WORST on the market in one fell swoop is just insane. The new packs are smaller, wipes are ALOT thinner, drier, and you feel like a cheap magician pulling a chain of hankies out his pocket when you try pulling these things out the pack, good luck on trying to get one at a time out! These are nothing more than pound shop/cheap supermarket own brand quality now. The quality is so different and poor compared to the old version they are just useless now. Can't get over how big a drop in quality there is. Sad to see these go but I won't be buying huggies again (not unless they revert to the old ones or up the quality "big time" on these new ones ).
Which genius at Kimberley Clark thought…
Which genius at Kimberley Clark thought it was a good idea to change these . Less in a pack, smaller, thinner and come out in clumps. Also hard to get into the pack. Absolutely useless now so changing brands
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, compared to the original wipes we have been using for years.
We will not be buying these any more.
These have always been number 1 by far…
These have always been number 1 by far the best over the years of growing up and always used through all our children also, but since the changes have gone to by far the worst iv ever seen, the quality is poor & just tbh pathetic, only get out packet in clumps so alot of wastage, will finally stop using now as unable to find older quality stocked ones now and these are worse than the cheapest non makes ones. Very bad move from huggies !!!!
Rather they had stayed the same quality over all and up the price than ruin it all like this.
Huggies Pure Wipes user for 26 years but no more!
Have been buying Huggies Pure Wipes for 26 years but will never again. The product is now so awful to use since the recent manufacturing and product changes that it now bears no resemblance to the product it used to be. They were once the best wipes on the market, useful for wiping and cleaning so many things, not just babies.
There are now even fewer in the pack, each wipe is smaller, made of something thinner/worse, harder to get out the pack, the pack seal is harder to pull open and for some strange reason the hole for extracting them is much smaller making it difficult to pick one out. The wipes are no longer intertwined to make it easier to get the next one out and often when I do manage to actually get just one out they are so folded in half that it makes it impossible to unfold them.
Huggies have really screwed up with this product change, the wipes are now really useless both practically and usefully. Such a shame to see a product degraded so much when before they had the best, not sure which accountant or manager made this decision but big mistake.
Have already found a suitable alternative product in Aldi's 'mamia sensitive' wipes, 80 in a pack vs Huggies 48 (which were 56 until recently and even more in the past).
You’ve destroyed this product…
You’ve destroyed this product completely.
I’ve been buying the Natural Care wipes for years and they were the best on the market. I was so happy when I found them and I’ve gone through countless packs.
The first downgrade was a few years ago when you made them noticeably smaller and thinner, which was a rubbish move and wholly disrespectful of your customers. It left a bitter taste in my mouth, but nevertheless, they were still usable. What you did now, though…
You can’t possibly be serious with these new wipes. Like honestly, is this a joke? I’ve bought better wipes from the petrol station to clean my windscreen. The coarse texture, the thinness, the dryness. How do you sell this to your loyal customers under the same product name and for the same price? And to read that you’re actually denying a change in formulation? Do you think we’re all daft?
You can’t even reasonably WIPE with these. They’re dry, rough, they have this plasticky, squeaky grip and they actually refuse to slide on the skin. It’s like they’re made of insulation glass wool. What IS this?
Do you actually WANT people to stop buying your product? Cause it seems like you’re doing your very best to insult and alienate your customers. I rarely leave reviews but I’m so incredibly angry. I’ve been buying your product for so long and it was such an important one for me, but I’m never touching anything from your brand again.
I wish I could give you 0 stars.
Shocking changes
Shocking changes. New version is so tightly packed the wipes dispatch in clumps and unfolding a single one is impossible. Thus whilst wrestling a toddler poo goes everywhere whilst single handedly trying to undo a baby wipe that must have been redesigned by the people at Rubiks cube. This is unpleasant. Certainly nothing huggy about it.
Like other famous products must have been redesigned by the accountancy department or more likely manufacturing has been moved to a cheaper supplier. Either way now my kids are bigger and less sensitive I will go back to the half the price ones in Lidl and Aldi. Rather than looking for the deals offered on line of the so called premium product.
Disappointing
I can not believe that a Company like Huggies that had a very good product in the baby wipes, so good that I stopped buying Pampers wipes, decided " I have a brilliant idea, let's change the product and ruined it because the costumers are happy, they buying them and we give Pampers a run for their money."
The new Huggies wipes smell terrible, they are drier and honest to god every time you pull one wipe out half a packet comes oout. I am back with Pampers now and for Huggies good luck.
Absolutely horrible they make them…
Absolutely horrible they make them smaller than use to be,and is really hard to get them out of the package, guys you should do better than that, I use haggis for around 7 years until now, what you did I just ruin them and I will never buy them again if they stay as they are disappointed.
Huggies Pure baby wipes.
Huggies Pure baby wipes.
I'm entirely in agreement with every other 1-star reviewer on here. Whomever decided to change the design of the wipes, needs firing for gross misconduct. They've gone from great wipes to useless ones overnight. As though any normal person has the time or patience to try and pick the pathetic flimsy things out of the packet. I feel sorry for mothers of newborns trying to do this.
Just so everybody's aware: there is a guarantee on them. I am currently trying to utilise that guarantee in order to get refunds. Unfortunately, that brings Kimberley-Clarke customer services into the equation - utter STUPIDITY is the only apt way to describe it. Three times now, they've sent me a request for photos and receipts (which I have) from a no-reply email address. Yes that's right.....no way to send those photos and receipts. You inform them of that, and they send you the same request again from a no-reply email again.
I won't give up, because I'm now infuriated by these unprofessional, irresponsible rip-off merchants.
Opening the new packet is just the…
Opening the new packet is just the first annoying thing. The wipes are rubbish. Will not buy any more.
What's happened to Huggies wipes
What's happened to Huggies wipes? Been buying them for over 10 years but won't be buying them anymore!
Pack sizes getting smaller all the time, used to be 64 in a pack now 48! Smaller, thinner and totally useless! They're actually now transparent, won't be wasting my money on them again sadly!
Maybe Huggies thought the drastic…
Maybe Huggies thought the drastic change in the pure wipes product would eventually subside when new inexperienced parents buy them. As for this long standing customer, I've found and switched to what was the prior closest wipe, Pampers aqua.
Huggies weighted soft toy
Ordered a weighted soft toy from this company, they say they have delivered it through the letterbox today, but all that came was an empty package, there’s no way the weighted toy could have been pushed through the letterbox,
Have no way of contacting the company which looks like it’s based in China !
Not going to use much longer.
Used Huggies for nearly 10 years (wiped), and their recent changes basically render them unusable at times.
Often using 1 hand to keep a mess from developing further, need to be able to use the other hand to dispense the wipes. Now I have to plan in advance and use both hands to get wipes out.
Why? Because the way the wipes are packaged no longer has an interfolded design. Previous wipes would slightly unfold the next wipe when drawing a wipe, these ones remain folded. Also, the wipe edge finishes at the edge of the stack, rather than at centre, making acquiring the next wipe all the more difficult.
