Just received my boots and they're perfect! Excellent customer service and beautiful boots - thank you!
We ordered two pairs of boots and we were pleasantly surprised with both of them. The shoes are exactly what we imagined, the quality is amazing, and the designs are beautiful. We had a very pleasant experience communicating with customer service and there were no issues with the delivery of the shoes.
Friendly service, great shoes! I received my order today, and I'm very impressed. Both pairs are comfortable and well made. And awesome customer service. 5 stars!

I initially saw Offbeat Sweetie's advertising on Facebook, I think. I really liked the designs they offered, but thought long and hard about buying from an unknown, online only business. Then they advertised a sale - and I started thinking seriously. Then the sale was about to end....so I went for it. I ordered a backpack, a pair of slip on shoes and a pair of sneakers.
The backpack arrived first. The colour and sharpness of the pattern wasn't exactly what I'd hoped for, but it is still a fine looking bag and perfect for my long daily commute. It fits my lunch bag, reading material and work folder and notebooks, as well as an umbrella, and all the other bits and pieces I lug about daily. I had a number of compliments on the bag and, despite it being green (they had limited choices of patterns at the time - I notice they have more now...) I did kinda love it....until the fateful day I killed it - or at least mortally wounded it. I had all my stuff in it and was going to work in the library up the street, so I stuffed in my laptop and an additional beverage, etc. I hefted it onto my back and...snap! The over-shoulder strap's stitching gave out and the strap became detached at the top. Now I accept full responsibility for this. I overstuffed the bag, but how disappointed was I? I invested in some thick needles and fishing line, as well as super glue and have had a not so successful go at fixing it. I suppose I got a month or so of use out of it first - and I haven't given up. I might even try some professional help to mend it.
The shoes have been a mixed bag. I ordered a size up from my usual, but both pairs were just too small. I was aware of the free size replacement policy but I felt it was rude to ask. They're a small business and what an imposition I would make on them! My boyfriend sat me down and explained that: 1. They wouldn't offer if they weren't going to do it and 2. They probably have a pretty good profit margin so I'm not costing them the full price punters pay for the shoes. So I summoned up my courage and emailed them.... Well, they were friendly and helpful and assured me I wasn't bankrupting a family and making their kids go hungry! The replacement shoes arrived a couple of weeks later.....
The sneakers are fantastic! Comfortable, colourful, fun. I wore them every day for the first month or two I had them - until I bought two more pairs in the recent BOGO sale. I gave the too small pair to my best friend. They fit her perfectly and she loves them and wears them as much as I do.
The slip-on shoes though... Really it's just the shape of my feet. They're really hard to get on and, after I've had them on for a half hour and my feet have settled into them, they're swimming on me. I do still wear them from time to time, when I know I won't be doing a lot of walking or standing. And they are beautiful. I love the way the design comes up on the canvas - better than the sneaker fabric or the backpack material. You win some, you lose some. It's a combination of the strength of the elastic sides and the shape of my foot - not the right shoes for me. But the sneakers more than make up for it. Oh, and I ended up buying another bag - a cross body handbag which is also beautiful with lots of very handy pockets.
So in conclusion, I'd recommend giving them a go. Beautiful designs. Colourful, fun products. Just don't overstuff your backpack and skip the slip ons if you have high arches.

I made a mistake and ordered one pair of my BOGO shoes in a size 2.5 sizes SMALLER than my normal size. The shoes arrived and when I realized my mistake I contacted the company. I was informed that they would replace the shoe "up to" two sizes larger or small than originally ordered - therefore my shoe could NOT be replaced in the size I needed. I suppose I could order it in a 7.5 and give away 2 pairs of shoes, but I'm not feeling that generous right now.
I would return the complete order but to do that I must ship the package to Australia and that will cost more than the shoes cost in the first place.

Got two pairs (and 8 & an 8 1/2) because after reading the reviews, I wasn’t really sure about the fit. Regardless of what you might read, they are a true fit, so order your regular size. Don’t size up.
When the 8 1/2 was too big, I reached out to customer support and they offered me a replacement pair for free (I had to pay $15 for shipping, so not exactly free). I think it would be better if you could simply ship them back, but they asked me to donate them to someone in need rather than having them returned. So, there’s that.
Shoes arrived a few weeks later (definitely slow shipping process). I will say that the shoes look exactly like the photos, with very vibrant colors and they are pretty comfortable for someone who works on their feet all day.
The soles are more like a foam than a rubber, so I find them very slippery to walk in when they get wet so there are times I can’t wear them.
My pet peeve - I ordered from offbeat Sweetie because their FB ads led me to believe they were an Australian company selling Australian-made goods, but were struggling because of the US tariff situation. I visited Australia last year and they make quality goods and have quality workmanship on the things they make, that’s why I ordered. Sadly, when my sneakers arrived, first thing I noticed was that they are “made in China.” I was trying to support a local small business, like my own, but everything I use and sell in my company is actually made in Canada. Supporting local is important to me, so I will not be ordering from offbeat Sweetie again. SIDE NOTE: I would have paid twice the price to get one pair of “Australian made” sneakers to support the Australian economy, rather than getting two pairs of mass produced sneakers from China.

Having previous ordered some lowtops on sale (which were excellent and are very comfortable - far more comfortable than converse lowtops) I decided to order some trainers on the BOGOF offer and they arrived today and they are again excellent.
Saw in the 1 star review a complaint about digital mockups. The pictures on the website exactly match the shoes and are clearly an actual picture of the physical shoes not a digital mockup of them.

Came up on Facebook while I was in hospital feeling pretty down and ordered some trainers at a reduced price with shipping 45 pounds. They are super comfy, and I love, love, love the personal touches of the thank you letter and stickers. Would highly recommend.

I just received my order. So impressed! The boots are comfortable with nice grippy outsoles. My orthotics fit great when I took out the removable foot bed too! The totes have nice lining with pockets and one with a zipper! The patterns are vibrant and true to the pictures on the website. I will be ordering more in the future!

Ordered two pairs of boots, received them to Canada in approximately 3 weeks. They are awesome, bright colors, comfortable, wide enough for me to use my own orthotic in them, as I have very difficult feet to shop for. I didn't need to remove the liners that were in the boots, they were more comfortable if I just placed my own orthotic on top of the existing liners. Received them just before Canada Day so I was stylin' and profilin' during our Celebrations. Got lots of compliments on them. I also received a thank you card with a hand drawn picture from the family - what a lovely gesture. Customer service is stellar - thank you Sweetie.

Not sure which is better, the fab funky boots, which are so comfortable from the start, or the excellent customer service! Brilliant 😊

I saw their amusing advert on Facebook about tariffs and how they always preferred the UK anyway, so i thought i would take a look at their website. Loved the designs, but always weary about buying online from Facebook ads to checked for online reviews and all the FAQs on their page. I was also a little unsure of sizing as my size can vary depending on style and width of shoe and its a lot of money to end up with the wrong size, but then i spotted in the FAQs that there is a one time free size replacement, which to be honest, is the only reason i went ahead with the purchase. Turns out, the size was perfect anyway. I ordered faux fur boots and a pair of sneakers. The sneakers were extremely light in weight and very comfortable. The boots are very soft and warm. Yes there was a slight smell when i opened the packaging, but it didnt last. So if anyone like me is unsure about purchasing, I would highly recommend them. Now i just need to convince myself that i dont actually need to buy any more of the designs.....

I recently received my first order of Offbeat Sweetie shoes and I am thrilled! I bought 2 pairs of the slip ons and was so happy to have shoes that fit my wide feet so well. Comfy at the front with a nice snug heel. The shoes’ fabrics were even nicer than I expected. I was also delighted to get the shoe bag and the thank you letter and all the adorable stickers, it was like getting an early Christmas present! I am looking forward to ordering a pair of the lined boots and maybe a tote bag. Thanks for making this 71 year old feel like a kid again! 💕🇨🇦

EDIT 2 - Company edited response without stating that, however everything they’ve said about me is untrue. Have evidence to prove this
EDIT – please see the business’s response below.
I had actually planned to order some shoes — I found a pair that perfectly matched some leggings I own. I was trying to figure out the sizing (since I’m not familiar with EU sizes) and checked the FAQ page to understand where they ship from. That’s something I do with any unfamiliar website before placing an order.
I wasn’t “hostile” in my Facebook comment — I asked if anyone had photos of the shoes they received (to help gauge what they look like in real life), and I pointed out a few parts of the FAQ that were confusing. That’s it.
And for the record:
• I never said anything about you exploiting or underpaying workers — those words came from your reply, not me.
• I also never said anything about your returns policy — so I’m not sure why that was brought up either.
• I did, however, see that your website says your shoes are stocked in a store in Australia, while your Facebook comment to another customer says you’re online only. That’s contradictory.
• You also told someone on Facebook that you’re an Australian business using a Canadian manufacturer with a factory in China, which is not mentioned on your website, or in your response here. Not is it clear without checking the FAQ page that your shoes are shipped from China, so for you to state that you’re very transparent about that is false.
On top of that, there’s a second Facebook page with the same name and logo that claims to be a health/wellness brand based in Myanmar, which adds to the confusion.
You said I “clearly wasn’t going to be a customer,” but I absolutely was planning to be — until I was blocked for asking a question. That’s the reason I lost confidence.
Lastly, it’s not illegal to leave a review based on my interaction and experience with a brand. I didn’t post anything defamatory — I referred directly to information you shared publicly on your site and your social media.
Asked a question and got blocked.
I saw an ad from Offbeat Sweetie targeting UK buyers and looked into their products. After reading their FAQ, I noticed several red flags: they only use digital mock-ups (no real photos), admit their shoes may have a strong chemical smell, and outsource manufacturing to China while advertising themselves as a “family-run Australian business.”
I left a polite, factual comment on one of their Facebook ads asking if anyone had received actual products and pointing out the inconsistencies. Rather than respond, they blocked me entirely from their Facebook page. I can no longer view their posts or even search for the page.
This kind of response to honest questions is a major concern — especially when combined with unclear manufacturing practices and no returns for made-to-order shoes. Buyers deserve transparency.

So many beautiful choices! I picked two sneakers, one with white sole and one with black. Price was very reasonable for both (got a BOGO sale). Delivery was less than 2 weeks from Australia to my home in Ontario Canada. And I love them. Comfy and fit perfectly. Have only worn them once so far but got lots of compliments and enquiries about them.
