Supporten er god, men...

Supporten er god, men der er behov for workarounds og der er for mange fejl, så vi har droppet Rackbeat.

Would rather Economic "lager" module...

You asked us to write a review, so must accept the criticism that comes. This isn't a direct judgement on Rackbeat itself, but why on earth did Economic shut down a perfectly good, integrated warehouse management module to move over to a completely separate "lager" entity? I can see the benefits for some more advance use, but for a simple company like mine a fully integrated product is better than forcing together separate pieces of software. 2 lots of billing, import of customers etc.. that has different field settings, layouts that don't import from one to the other - and in general integration issues that occur whenever you have separate entities. Surely it was ok to keep Economic's lager module for those who preferred it and offer Rackbeat to those that felt they needed a more dedicated lager solution. To me it just smells of money making opportunity, how to screw more out of the customer who find themselves dependent on Economic. And yes, it is easy to suggest to change over to something else, but we all know the reality is not that easy - and besides, I like Economic as a program, just a shame that it was amputated and an artificial limb put on.

Dear Dan,

First and foremost, we truly appreciate your candid feedback. 🙏

We're sorry to hear that our "best-of-both-worlds" solution hasn't met your expectations. 😔 We understand that the simplicity of the old "lager" module worked well for your business needs. However, it's important to note that this solution wasn't future-proof and couldn't continue to meet the evolving standards of software in 2023 and beyond. Consequently, the decision to sunset the “lager” module was inevitable, regardless of the alternative solutions provided.

We recognize the challenges of adapting to two systems and want to assure you that our focus is on enhancing their integration. 🤝 Our goal is to create a user experience that feels as cohesive and seamless as possible. To address your concerns, we tried calling you today. Understanding your busy schedule, we hope you'll respond to our email to arrange a call in the new year. 📅 We aim to help you navigate these changes and enhance your experience with both systems. 🚀

Your feedback is invaluable, and we want you to know that the decision to transition from the old system was made with careful consideration. 🌱 We are hopeful that, in time, the benefits of the new system will become apparent and outweigh the initial frustrations of change.

Thank you once again for your honesty and for sharing your thoughts with us. We're here to support you through this transition and look forward to enhancing your experience with our solutions. 🚀

Best Regards,

Synchronization doesn't work + horrible customer service

Since e-conomic is shutting down its inventory, parent company Visma suggested a move to Rackbeat. After having had a physical and online shop for 10 years, our "system" has never worked worse than this. Rackbeat itself has many flaws (search function doesn't work, you can not delete invoices from the overview, you can not add description to items if you create them in the invoice delivery pane, invoice background template is not white etc.). But the worst part is that the promised synchronization between Rackbeat and Shopify, which I was guaranteed would work, is full of flaws. Sold out items that were sold years ago suddenly appear online/available in the webshop, even though Rackbeat inventory says 0. And VAT is added to 2nd hand items (which have no VAT on them). Saturday I had to take our webshop OFFLINE for the first time in 10 years (!) since there are so many flaws and we had customers ordering items that haven't been available for years (stock = 0) which is catastrophic for any company. And customer service doesn't get back with solutions/a plan to fix their flaws in the system. I've written several email to the consultant and the support email as well - and I have called them, too. Nothing has been fixed. Besides a bad system, the customer service is horrible, too :-(

Bjarke - One Of Many Cameras

**UPDATE** - after 6 very frustrating days I was today informed that Rackbeat can not provide the service I was promised - integration between e-conomic and Shopify. We have to manually - on all new items added - handle the VAT/no vat manually in Shopify. Before moving from e-conomic to Rackbeat I was told - and assured - several times that this would not be an issue. Rackbeat brags with integration to Shopify on their website, but do not deliver.

I have also been told that Rackbeat does not have the ressources to fix this in the foreseeable future. This is so unacceptable - parent company VISMA pushes the move to a new system (Rackbeat) - and another paid monthly subscription - because they choose to shut down their existing inventory platform (e-conomic). The replacement (Rackbeat) is so much worse and is lacking crucial features. And to say that they don't have the resources to fix the flaws is beyond my comprehension. After all, Visma does the ressources to sponsor a whole Tour-De-France team. Absurd.

Dear Bjarke.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and the challenges you've encountered during the transition.

We understand the critical nature of a reliable system, especially for a business with a decade-long presence like yours. It's disheartening to hear that the synchronization, along with other system functionalities, has not met your expectations. We appreciate your detailed feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement.

We want to assure you that your concerns are a top priority for us, and we are committed to resolving the issues you've raised. Unfortunately, our customer support has been extraordinarily busy recently, but we will of course handle all issues in a timely fashion.

Once again, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We appreciate your patience and look forward to working closely with you to resolve these challenges.

Best regards,

The Support.
