do not trust this site! i payed back everything i owed all at once, then another payment came out of my account and overpayed. and they aren’t doing anything about it as i have proof and they keep trying to say it was a different order that came out when it wasn’t. added everything i payed it came out to be over wheat i owed! i’ll be disputing it with my bank. but be fair warned to watch what you pay back and make sure it shows it was payed!

I placed an order through shein but and they did not get order delivered on time and while they have a photo of delivery it wasn't there when I returned home. Sezzle wants me to pay for an order I didn't receive even though the he merchandise is not there

Watch out for the stores you choose and shop!!!! I just received my order...nigare! I speak French, it's a translation for everyone to read!!! Purchase chosen in the Obox store liquidation... Open box... Unusable, horrible and disgusting product... Thoshiba 32-inch Fire tv oled television packed in its box, but it arrives with the screen open in the middle and broken on the top of the screen with a large round screen certainly not functional! Everyone who buys an open box television expects the television with a screen in very good condition and a minimum of inspection before resale, not broken shit! No one would want to buy these products! A store without any confidence in purchase or delivery! In the same order, I bought a JBL Flip 6 speaker, the packaging is sticky, dirty and disgusting. The speaker is all stained with yellow traces and the Bluetooth does not even hold connected for more than 10 seconds! I can't even have time to play a song to listen to it! I ban this store forever from seezle's choices... This store shouldn't even be a choice! This is the worst online and in-store purchase of my entire life! In addition, we must fill out a return request with a period of 24 to 48 hours for the recall of an agent! One of the worst stores for life to never shop!!!!

Fees are outrageous. Ended up paying nearly $30 more for a $50 purchase. Customer service is snarky and rude. I have had sezzle for 5 years and have always been a good and on time customer. Luckily, 99% of who i shop with use other methods of payment options.

Tessa, I have already reached out to customer service and apparently these fees aren’t going anywhere. So. If I need a service like Sezzle and it’s the only thing available where I’m shopping, I guess I’m not buying anything!

Sezzle has helped a lot especially through the holidays. I had one minor issue and Dave, in customer service, was extremely helpful.
The earn tabs are amazing as well. Yes...You have to do tasks, but the spend you can accumulate amd use towards your purchases has been extremely rewarding.

**UPDATE 1/15/2026^^ I am updating my original review based on contact with Sezzle after my initial review.
I was subsequently contacted by Regina from Sezzle who was really nice and FINALLY responded to my issue. She was able to confirm my credit was unlocked and finish processing my application.
I’m only updating my review to 3 stars because although Regina was great and resolved the problem, Sezzle gave me a whopping $200 of buying power. In today’s American economy that doesn’t buy much. At all. Especially when you consider I have nearly $3,000 buying power at competitive sites like Affirm and PayPal.
So 3 stars is where it lands. Appreciate the issue being resolved, still terrible policies.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I have continually applied for their services over the last month and I get the same scammy response…my TransUnion report is locked. Which it is. But I’ve unfrozen it NUMEROUS times before applying yet they give me the same canned response.
I’ve deleted their scam of an app and won’t attempt to use them anymore. I suggest you avoid them like the plague that they are.

I have had nothing but trouble with Sezzle and will not use again. They have my card and bank info on file, but try to say that the payment doesn’t go through. When I manually made the payment on the due date, I was charged a late fee. Now I’m trying to make a payment early to pay off the entire balance and sezzle will not process a payment. I believe this to be a scam and fraud. Never again. Stick to Affirm, never had an issue with them.

My payment method was compromised (not on Sezzle), I had payments upcoming and won't have a new card issued yet, Jim was fantastic and helped me and was able to move my payment dates to after my new card arrives.

I’d give less than one star if I could ): really disappointed about how my experience with them went. I couldn’t log in so they told me they’d transfer my credits to my new account if I let them delete the account to make a new one. Then when I asked for my credits to be transferred after doing what to do I was told it wasn’t possible. I was either lied to or the new person that started to reply just doesn’t want to help.

I was late on a payment, but it was only for the weekend because I didn't realize the card hadn't been accepted, and I only owed $28. They charged me a $23.90 late fee, just for the weekend!!! Don't trust this app.
