Poor customer service

Ordered 2 large and 4 small lampshades. One of the large lampshades was badly soiled so contacted the company accordingly to request a replacement. Email received confirming that a replacement would be sent together with return details; replacement lampshade received but no return slip.
I have tried calling and emailing several times as I also want to return the smaller lampshades as they are not suitable, all to no avail.
I wish I had read previous reviews prior to ordering as they certainly do not live up to their name of SUPERIOR Lighting!

Poor Customer Service after receiving damaged lamp

Purchased a floor lamp from Superior Lighting which arrived fairly promptly. Upon opening the parcel the lamp base had been damaged. I immediately sent a message to this company with photos showing the damage. I received a reply the same day saying that they would replace the damaged base. It is now 2 weeks since I received the damaged floor lamp and despite numerous, messages and phone messages I still have had no further contact with this company.

Customer service not good. Goods never arrived.

I ordered it but then received an email saying that particular one was out of stock and did I want a refund or a very similar replacement. I opted for the replacement. It never arrived despite leaving voicemails, filling in on-line contact forms and sending emails. I eventually cancelled it. The phone is never answered. Not happy at all.

PERFECT BUYING EXPERIENCE OCTOBER 2025

I cannot praise Superior Lighting highly enough, both for my recent purchase and their wonderful first class service.

Firstly I bought a pair of gorgeous, contemporary lampshades that were greatly discounted, compared with other lighting suppliers.
They were beautifully packed and arrived on Saturday morning - which was almost next day delivery, from the point of ordering.

Also my email to their customer care team was promptly answered within an hour of it being sent.

Couldn’t have possibly hoped for a better buying experience.
Highly recommend !
Buy with confidence !

Best lighting store in South Florida

Had some bad luck with other lighting suppliers here in south Florida, but Superior Lighting got me what i needed and in a timely manner. They also had great communication with regular status updates. Would definitely recommend for any commercial lighting projects.

Mantra Eve ceiling lights worth waiting for at a great price

I ordered two Mantra Eve ceiling lights from Superior Lighting but they were out of stock. They notified me with an estimated delivery time but with global supply issues this took longer than expected. David kept me informed while I waited and no other suppliers had the same lights so clearly this was a supply issue for all vendors. No payment was taken until the lights arrived when David notified me and asked if I wanted to proceed with the order, which I did. The lights arrived well packaged, double boxed in perfect condition. They were easy to fit and look great. Superior Lighting’s prices were the best on the internet by a long way, and David's approach to customer service cannot be faulted.

Chandelier purchase

Bought a chandelier for the lounge. Received a prompt message that item was on back-order and offered the option to proceed or not. Very good, personal, communication throughout and arrived next day once back in stock. We are delighted with the light. David even sent me some spare beads when I realised a couple (out of hundreds) of the small ones were slightly chipped. Good price and excellent customer service - would definitely use again!

Couldn't fault my own experience with this company

I was really unsure about going with this company as i saw the reviews. Which is why i felt like i should leave a review to others who are uncertain. I've had absolutely no issues buying my lights from here and found the customer service really good. I ordered 5 lights, one of which was not available for dispatch yet. David immediately messaged me after i placed my order. i was offered to cancel the order if i wanted. i asked if they could send the in stock products straight away and they said of course - received promptly. I had an issue with one of the light shades not fitting properly (not the website's fault, the manufacturer's fault) - they instantly posted out a replacement when i asked them. They then kept me informed of expected delivery of my final product when i asked and delivered as promised. i would use them again despite my initial reservations. Very pleased with everything and a very good price.

Inferior Customer Service

Ordered some lighting from them.
After 10 days I’d not had a dispatch email so I logged onto my account to see that my order had been cancelled! I had not received any notification from them of this cancellation. I emailed them and they replied saying my order was still active their end and they were expecting my items on Monday of the following week and did I still want them. I replied that I did and could they confirm which day to expect them. They never replied. I sent several emails. No replies. I called their telephone number and left several voicemails. They never answer the ‘phone or call back.
I ended up ordering elsewhere and received my order within 2 days.
I wish I’d read these reviews BEFORE ordering and wasting my time because it looks like it’s a common theme.
Superior Lighting? What a joke! Customer service is non existent.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
I’d give zero stars if I could.

Dar lighting Yasmin 5 bulb light

I ordered a Dar lighting Yasmin 5 bulb chrome light fixture then saw the bad reviews on here and my heart sank. I got an email two days later saying my order was being shipped. It arrived a day or two later. The light was packed really well. It looks stylish and compact when fitted. I got a 5 pack of Eco luma G9-A19-64 from Amazon which gives a great light output. I felt like I had to come on here and leave this review given some of the bad reviews. My experience of this company was a good one.

I ordered a glass light fixture. The item arrived quickly, and well packaged to protect a fragile item. The product was exactly as described and per the photos. The service and product were excellent.

Avoid. Anything but superior

What an awful company. Ordered goods 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing in reply to several emails and phone messages. I created an account on their website and managed to look at my order only to find it had been voided! Luckily no money has been take. From paypal. But no explanation or communication. What a waste of time. Avoid

Awful…. avoid this site

I ordered a lamp from this site last month which turned out to be faulty. They responded to my email & arranged for a replacement lamp to be sent.

Unfortunately, the replacement lamp is also faulty so I am trying to arrange sending the lamps back & getting a refund, but now I cannot get a response from them. I’ve called, left multiple messages, sent multiple emails but nothing. Awful customer service! Do not buy with this company!
