Tried for more than one month(!) to establish contact, important and urgent, by using the message service online, both via webpage and app. Answer came after six weeks. Very hard to compare, never met this before- is it a joke?
Also big technical problems, should not be this in year 2025/26

Avida is the worst finance company ever. I had fraudulent charges and its been 2 months with almost no answers, no care, no possibility to pause the added invoice fees while they investigate the charges. Its insane how shitty their customer service is.
Very bad service from day one
Very bad service from day one, suspicious calls to pay the invoice via SMS, a 6-month interest-free loan that is repaid at the end of 6 months without interest, a monthly invoice with high interest is sent to me, I could not call anyone for advice, this Christmas is full of stress and worry for a simple loan
There has been no response
There has been no response. Every phone call goes unanswered for over an hour, and neither messages nor emails receive any reply. What is going on?
Nothing but stress, deception and greed.
I originally had a credit card through Santander and everything was smooth. But ever since Avida took over, it’s been a disaster.
They turned a decent service into a predatory mess. Constant fees, random interest charges, and sneaky tactics like moving the due date to the exact day your salary comes in. Clearly designed to trick people into missing payments and rack up penalties.
Their communication is awful, their practices are shady, and it honestly feels like they’re trying to squeeze every last krona out of their customers with zero shame.
Avida is by far the worst financial company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Nothing but stress, deception and greed.

Avoid any of their services by any means
Calling several times for some questions i have about a small credit i obtained for an electronic device.
They don't pick up the phone, reaching position 1 or 2 in the queue and then it sends me back to 8th - 9th place.
I have written 2 messages in their application one week ago and no response till today.

Avida Finans bank/Private webpage does not open
My Avida experience by now is only poor.
They send a general information to the credit card holder from former Santander bank. They said they changed their monthly payments from originally issued at the 05th each month to be paid latest at 20th of the same month but they changed the payment due to 5 days earlier which means the new bill from their new partner will be sent at 05th as always but now you have only 10 days to pay your bill and if you pay just the minimum amount you will be charged plus 3% which the Santander bank did not done all the 8 years I was customer this brings for the bank, large amount of fresh money. And by today 04th.October 2025 their website coincidently not opening at all, their e-mail and customer phone contact never answer, all coincidently??( I do not believe on any coincident specially now) it smells like a prefeed financial strategical maneuver to gain that extra 3% ,and if any can get through by sending internal comment, they answer like robotic produced reply, such as try to contact CS, so you will find yourself in the same loop. I am sure they will loos a lot of their customers because trust is the most important rule of engagement for any customer.(shameful)
App is not working
Cannot login to the app on 1st October as instructed by Avida to check on my Santander Credit Card - They said it would work on 1st October - have not been able to check my Credit card since 28 September as it then stopped being on their website and we were instructed to download the app. Need to check the card!!!!

Terrible customer service. I filed a credit card dispute and the expected service time is 4 month. That’s outrageous.

Sets up credit card and cannot be reached
I have the same problem as others - I just bought some simple TV at Elgiganten and then suddenly AVida is setting up a credit and sending a credit card. They are neigh impossible to contect on phone. SO don't buy anything on credit anymore from Elgiganten.
CAN'T CLOSE ACCOUNT
avoid this site at all costs, I was transferred from Santander Consumer to Avida Finance without my permission, of course there is no way for support answer to any email or phone ( phone number not registered is the answer when you call official website avida finance) , they do not have the option to close your account, so you have to pay monthly interest even if you have not spent any money on the card, this means that you have no way to close your account because the site does not offer any option to let a member close their account.
