Extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Betts Shoes Belconnen ACT. Ordered a pair of shoes on March 16th, promised delivery within 3 days. It’s now March 29th—no shoes, no updates, no accountability. Store staff claim it's “out of their hands,” blaming the warehouse. This is unacceptable.
The lack of communication and failure to meet promises feels either neglectful or intentionally deceptive. Trust in this brand is completely shattered. Would not recommend this store to anyone looking for reliable service.

I purchased a pair of sandals, and they cost me over a $100.00. They haven't arrived, won't return emails and are generally just avoiding any correspondence. I cannot find a number to call them either. Such a frustrating time.
I bought a pair of Hunter sandals from Betts in August 2024, which I then wore overseas for three weeks. At the end of that three weeks the footbed was torn and bubbled. For some reason I thought this was my fault so I discarded them and bought another pair. I told the saleswoman about the problem and she reassured me it was an anomaly. I bought the new pair on Dec 11th and by Dec 23rd after wearing them about four times the exact same thing had happened. The footbed is not fit for purpose as the leather is tissue thin meaning that it tears and stretches and wrinkles. I took them back and got a refund and the same woman looked me in the eye and said she had sold hundreds and no one had experienced the same thing. She also insisted on destroying the sandals I returned. I believe Betts are selling footwear that is not fit for purpose. I wrote a review of the shoes on their website and it has not been published. Honestly do not buy from this company. They make sub par footwear and are irresponsible towards their customers.
My daughter purchased boots from Betts. After being worn for two days they are peeling and scraped as if they're two years old.
Betts refuse to refund and were rude and condescending. I've told friends and family about this. I will never purchase from them again.
I will go to the ACCC.
They have 84% negative feedback on another Australian review site. With recounts of poor quality and refusal to refund going back years
I purchased a pair of Betts shoes online. It was a super speedy dispatch and honestly the quality was so much better than I expected from an $100 pair of shoes. Super comfortable and definitely recommend.
