A Pleasant Surprise – Really Impressed with Childs Farm
I was using Aveeno and Nala Baby products, but my husband accidentally bought Childs Farm baby wash. Honestly, I’m impressed. The product smells amazing, feels gentle on my baby’s skin, and works really well.
I wasn’t planning to switch, but this has changed my mind. I’ll definitely be trying more Childs Farm products.
Where can I buy the original product?
I searched online to see if something had happened to the formula and found this hit. My experience is the same as everyone else's. What was once a miracle product is now making my skin weep, crack and scale. It is worse WITH the product than without.
Change of formula not good and very disappointing.
I have been using Childs farm moisturiser for a number of years and it kept my eczema at bay really well. Unfortunately the new formula is useless and not suitable for sensitive skin. I’m now back to using large amounts of steroid ointment again, very disappointing.

Another company changing things up for profit over customers satisfaction. If it isn't broken why fix it. As an adult I've used Child Farm for my ezcma proun skin for 10 years now. Brilliant product until recently when I noticed a change in the formula and my skin condition worsened! Horrible product now. Such a shame!
New formula irritates skin
I've been using Child's farm moisturiser for ten years on my eczema-prone skin, but I was so disappointed to discover they have changed the formula. It is not as good. It is harsh and it irritates my skin. It made my eyes sting. So disappointed at the new formula. Not so suitable for babies or children. I wish they would revert back to the brilliant product it was.
New sweet orange formula not fit for use
My daughter and I have exclusively used Child’s Farm Sweet Orange hair & body wash for over 10 years now on our hair and bodies. The new formula is simply horrid. The consistency is like jelly, it foams up, but only where you put it, it’s impossible to spread onto other areas like the original formula. As a result I’m using twice as much and our hair doesn’t feel clean, it ends up way more tangly. As a result I then have to use more conditioner than I usually would (certainly not one of theirs). It certainly doesn’t get the “squeak” in the squeaky clean like the original formula hair & body wash. I’m extremely disappointed. Their Quality Assurance department should be ashamed of accepting such a poor formula as fit for use. I will give my feedback directly to the company, and then find an alternative brand.
Formula Change!
The new formula for the watermelon and pineapple hair and body wash is horrible :( it smells nothing like the lovely natural mainly pineapple scent it used to have and has been replaced with a cheap synthetic watermelon stench. What a way to ruin a great product.
Organic Sweet Orange Hair and body…
Organic Sweet Orange Hair and body wash. We are long time users of this product over nearly 10 years. The new 'improved' formular has a very chemical smell and contains allergens which have caused my child's eczema to return. I can only guess that it is due to corporate cost cutting from the new owners. What a disappointment that an excellent product is no more.
Product Management Gone Mad
Have been a long time customer of their unscented baby shampoo but now replaced by awful scented shampoo and body wash - what were they thinking - customer no more!

My child’s head is full of dandruff and eczema after using Child Farm’s shampoo.
New formulations irritate my skin badly
I've used Child's Farm sensitive baby moisturiser for years: it's the only one I've found that was tolerated by the skin on my face.
However the new "improved" formulation immediately caused my face to sting painfully and to break out into a rash. I then tried an alternative Child's Farm moisturiser and that had exactly the same effect.
It's no longer suitable for sensitive skin.
I'm now starting the search for another moisturiser / emollient.

Childs Farm claims to be good for sensitive skin and eczema prone toddlers, which is why I tried it out. Big mistake - toddler broke out in spots and eczema was worse. Wouldn’t recommend
Childs Farm Tea Tree &Grapefruit Detangler
I have been using Childs Farm tea tree and grapefruit hair detangler for the best part of 10 years. I tried the new ones and my childs head is full of eczema/dandruff and keeps getting worse. This has never been a problem before. I have now sourced some as I cannot get it in the store and I've had to order 27 bottles of it, to make sure I have some to last a good while, and try and sort my childs scalp out. Whatever you have changed or doing differently, is definitely not working for our childrens skin. This is the reason we used Childs Farm in the first place, due to skin issues that Childs Farm used to help. Stop doing whatever it is you have started and go back to how things used to be. You will get no where once your customers realise, it is no longer good for our children. You WILL lose sales, now that you've changed things. I will not longer buy Childs Farm when these bottles are used up, as trust in the company is not what it once was.
No longer the original products
No longer the original products, the founder has sold out to Cuzzons and the products contain allergens that they are legally able to use because they declare them and state they’re in safe amounts. Well, our children’s skin tells the truth - Avoid at all costs.
Disappointed as incomparable to original
I have been using most of the Child’s Farm range since it first launched and the new ‘improved’ range is totally different. The shampoo doesn’t foam or rinse out well and leaves all four of my children’s hair lank and dull. My youngest son’s eczema has also flared up and I am sure it’s due to the changed ingredients. The fragrances are sickly and not at all comparable to the originals. Unfortunately after trying several different shampoos and body washes we have changed to a different brand.
New formula isn't good
I have been using the child's farm range (shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser) on myself and my whole family for probably close to 8 years. The recent ingredients changes have not been for the better, the previously natural nice scents are now sickly and chemically smelling. The previous range was perfect for our eczema and sensitive skin. This range has caused dermatitis flare up and eczema patches to return. It's a shame they sold out to a big company who is clearly putting profits ahead of maintaining a decent product that was well loved.
Changed formula less effective than before
I religiously bought the fragrance free moisturiser for many years now. Which was so good. It’s frustrating that the new formula is being passed off as “new and improved”. When reality is it’s now much more watery/less thick, and doesn’t moisture very well any more. So I’ll have to look for another now unfortunately.
I just wish companies would be honest if they need to make cut backs or change the formula for a similar reason instead of trying to say it’s improved. It’s not got soya oil in it also.
Given some stars because it’s still all natural and good credentials. Like their ethos.
Wouldn’t recommend at all
Wouldn’t recommend at all, it’s extremely harsh not suitable for sensitive skin at all

I have never been so in love with a children’s shampoo before. I have started using it myself. It has the most incredible smell that reminds me of my own childhood. I didn’t know anything about this brand. I discovered it when I took my daughter swimming and at reception the lady told me to try the sample. I have never looked back. Fantastic product. Love love love.
Shame about the change of packaging …
Great product but changing the pump dispenser to a tube had removed the ease of use and becomes clogging and not able to use as easily
