Our employees do not use drugs during working hours. This is strictly forbidden and actively monitored within our company. The claim that one of our movers was using marijuana while on duty is completely false and damaging.
Any delay that occurred was communicated at the time and never justifies personal accusations or inappropriate language. Likewise, our team is instructed to communicate professionally at all times. We do not tolerate disrespectful behavior towards customers, nor do we accept unfounded allegations towards our staff.
If there were questions about pricing, these are always based on the agreed conditions and actual time worked, and are communicated transparently.

Amateur movers and professional SCAMMERS.
My experience with Magic Movers was one of the worst service interactions I’ve ever had. Their behaviour around payment alone was deeply alarming. They refused to leave my home until I paid them on the spot, even though I had not yet been able to verify the condition of my belongings. Consumers are by law entitled to inspect the service before completing payment, and no company should be telling a customer “we won’t leave your place” as a pressure tactic.
The problems started even earlier. Their initial assessment of the furniture was superficial at best, and on moving day they arrived more than an hour late. The job explicitly included dismantling several pieces of furniture, yet they showed up with no tools at all. They simply took mine without asking and then scattered screws, panels, and components all over the house. There was no plan, no structure, and no care. At one point I had half‑dismantled furniture in multiple rooms with no clear idea of what they were doing next.
Within the first 30 minutes, I saw them on a video call with their manager, showing him the amount of work required. Instead of sending additional help, they decided to continue with just the two movers—despite the fact that they were the ones who recommended a two‑person team in the first place.
Late in the day, one of them told me I needed to pay extra because there was “too much stuff for only two people.” This was especially frustrating because I had called them days before to explain that I was injured and unable to assist, and that they needed to plan accordingly. They acknowledged this at the time, yet on the day they repeatedly insisted they expected me to help.
They ultimately completed only half of the move, and that happened at 2 a.m. I then had to hire an additional team to return two days later to finish the job—at my own expense.
This company caused unnecessary stress, delays, and extra costs. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Most useless and unapologetic moving company
Just received a cashback promo email from Magic Movers encouraging me to write a review and I realised I neglected to add one to Trust Pilot. Opportunity missed. So here we go :) Clearly I am still not over this experience over a year later.
I scheduled a move with magic movers for 27 September 2024. Our allocated timeslot was 12-3pm. Unfortunately the move only began at 6pm. Another unfortunate thing is I had severely underestimated how many boxes we would have. So we ran out of space and required a second move. Unfortunately there was miscommunication and so the man with the lift just disappeared for the second move, so at 10pm we cancelled it. Unfortunately, after being told we would move on the 28th or 29th, we were forgotten. We were once again forgotten on Monday the 30th. We were left stranded without a bed for 4 nights, and needed to spend money on hotels.
If you choose to use magic movers then I would recommend requesting a direct contact line because their office line does not get answered after 5pm in the week and on weekends not at all.
I am currently awaiting insurance coverage for a dressing table that they damaged. A vase was also broken. The vase made it here from south Africa to the Netherlands but unfortunately 2.8kms in Amsterdam with this last move was too much for it.
I was falsely charged for materials not used. Blankets were not supplied on the first move but they were on the second. Both moves cost more than the quotes.
If you're wondering why they have such a high star rating, it's because they offer to "compensate" you for a 5 star review. Meanwhile the "compensation" is literally just what is owed. Take the dressing table (€169), the discount they promised (€93.40), the bubble wrap that didn't exist (€17.94), the hotel rooms due to them forgetting about us for 4 nights (€360) - you think €250 paid out will cover what we went through? No. I'm still waiting for the bunch of flowers (which I couldn't care about) to arrive. Just more lies. Like, don't offer to send flowers. Just keep your mouth shut. Nobody cares about flowers. They care about the 4 nights left stranded and the product damage.
So I assume many other people have been offered money for this.

I want to say. Never work with this Magic Movers if you can find any movers. Not only they took the wrapping foils which are not belong to them, we informed them we have our own materials. But they took all my wrapping materials and most angry that is that they took my color palette, oil painting box and containers with my pen and brushes that I contained my tools and I saved up so many years to buy.
They left my major studio tables behind and I had to ask them to come back for second move as they did not estimate properly at first.
They never showed us the empty truck. We were busy inside. They left in hurry as it’s Saturday evening. I want to inform you all never work with this mover if you can!!!

I had a very bad experience with this company.
It was very easy to agree on a date and a service. They were also very quick to send me a quote and have me sign it. I was very happy to have found such a helpful partner for my move.
Well, the day before the move, I got a call less than 20 hours before they should be at my apartment, suddenly they would not be able to be there on time. They suggested they could come 5-8 hours later or on another day. In my case, there were more parties and timelines involved than just the Magic Movers. And I, of course, could not wait for them to show up. So, ultimately, my friends and neighbours stepped up and filled the gap this company left in my schedule.
I found this interaction more than jarring. They did not offer any help. They were very uncooperative and in the end charged me 50% of the contract as "I was the party that cancelled the contract".
I mean, I did, but only because they called me less than 24h before the move, indicating they won't be there.
While they are cool to book with, and it might be a big relief to have finally found someone for your move. I told all my friends not to sign up with Magic Movers and instead use a different service when they move.
Ultimately, contracting Magic Movers was one of the most stressful parts of the move.

I would give them a - 10 if that would be possible. I regretted hiring them. The only guys that were great are the movers themselves, the heavy lifters. The customer service and the finance department - disaster!! I paid for their services on the spot, right there, in its entirety. But they started sending me invoices and payment links for services that I DID NOT use. And after a few phone calls to the customer service and emails containing screenshots of my paid invoices, they even hired Debt Management to send me threatening messages for the services, I repeat, I DID NOT use. They have been sending me these for over a month. Pure harassment! And in the end, all I got was a lousy apology. But the Debt Management didn't do even that! I will search if I have grounds for a law suit. And I got all that for being an honest, paying customer.
And in the end, they aren't cheap, they are pretty expensive!
I would never recommend them to anyone!!
