Hopeless

tried to use their banking app for the 1st time and would not allow me repeat my memorable word so that i could continue/complete the setup. Rebooted my iPhone tried again Activation code was no longer valid. After lengthy wait trying to call the off shore call centre advice i received was useless/uninteligible so now I have no access to useless bank account and access fully blocked support is none existent. My advice plenty of much better banks like First Direct

Sold a Duff 10 year Full P&L Warranty on Boiler

I purchased a Worcester Bosch Boiler from this company little over 7 years ago with a ten year guarantee on 0% finance deal. The install was great and the boiler has performed brilliantly until a few months ago where the heat exchanger was failing. Tried to claim on my 10yr Full P&L guarantee only to be told I only actually had a 7 year guarantee, despite having paperwork to the contrary. I attempted to contact them but was ignored so i contacted Worcester Bosh (who where brilliant) they supplied the expensive part FOC and only charged the £216 labour. As this should have been covered by the Guarantee I paid for needless to say I contacted the Finance Company who now have opened a Section 75 Consumer Credit Claim to hopefully recover some of the money I paid for a non existent guarantee.

Lottery Ticket has better odds of a return

Had this for a short period and thankfully I only invested tiny amount but consistently ran at 2% + loss my cash would have faired better in my current account at least I would have got some paltry interest. Only reason I gave two stars is the app is really good but as an investment don't bother buy a lottery ticket instead

Wealthify is a long term investment platform so the funds we hold tend to have a long term outlook and if there are downturns in the market we tend to stay true to our strategy rather than sell at a loss. Remember unless you need the money right now, the figure you see on your Dashboard is not real unless you choose to sell at that price. Investing is a risk based pursuit so there will always be ups and downs, particularly in the short term which is what it sounds like you have tried it for.

We booked a weekend stay at Camber…

We booked a weekend stay at Camber Sands so we could take our child to local Rugby Tournament along with his brother (no playing). Two weeks before the stay that we booked last year they sent a text message saying we where part of a group booking, against their rules and would be refused entry so we effectively where forced to cancel. the fact that we acted independently of any group held no sway with them . I have never stayed with this company and now I have read the reviews Im very pleased they did cancel us probably would have been a hellish experience

Our terms and conditions do advise "Family and friends who live at the same address or know each other or who travel together will be considered as making a group booking even if they have made separate bookings." I can only apologise if you did not know this prior to booking.

Dreadful service and impossible to contact

Covered by Admiral when i had to make a claim after having an accident whilst on holiday and although not great with agreeing for my costs for surgery it happened and they got me back to the UK but i was left waiting 6 months for the large amount of legitimate medical expenses . One ploy they use to delay payment is they ask a question you answer like what was the Euro exchange rate on the day your bought those prescribed medicines then you wait 30 days before they deal with it before coming out with another inane question and you guessed it another 30 days waiting .Forget trying to get hold of these people its been made difficult for a reason and DO NOT auto renew it will go up in price and they make it impossible to cancel once they have charged your card i had to go back to my Credit card company to dispute

Absolutely avoid this company if your on a uk license you book and when you arrive they ask for an Idp if you don’t have they want an extra 272 euro it’s a scam folks and guess what you don’t legally need an idp and the car I got was a heap of junk AVOID

Not a company I'm likely to deal with again

I had a bad experience with this company but to their credit they put it right by returning my gold. My lesson learnt here is know what your selling and pre agree a price before sending it off to be appraised otherwise your leaving yourself wide open.

Probably the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with don't touch them I left them two years ago and they are still making my life a misery over egging meter readings by double blocking me leaving ignoring legitimate complaints and don't even think Ofgem will sort it they are useless

Even worse than BT who own them

Do not go near this company its part of BT and the service shows they tried to connect me to broadband engineer said he called but he did not at all. The next visit will be in two weeks so i have no service whatsoever. Great start for 24 hours so i think lets get outta here and go to a company who can actually deliver. Here the problem starts they will only let me leave if i forfeit my annual line rental for one day of phone immoral and illegal sale of goods and services act covers this one . MAC code will not be supplied for at least 24 hours WHY its all tactic to tie you into them so they can supply shocking customer service and leave you in a situation where its difficult to leave
