Cannot fault Essential Aids for my experience

I ordered an iwalk crutch on January 22nd and after a week of hearing nothing other than the order confirmation, I called the company to chase up the order. A very helpful lady advised me that the stock they had received was damaged but new stock was arriving the next day and my order would be expedited then. True to the word, my order was dispatched and it arrived today in perfect order. I know sone will say the customer shouldn't have to chase their orders but it does sayvon the website to contact them after a week with any issues. All in all, very good experience and excellent customer service.

Is this a scam?

I had YouFibre broadband installed in September without any referral from anyone and I haven't referred anyone to YouFibre. I received an email today from Aklamio saying my £60 cashback reward is ready to claim. The email says the money can be transferred either to my bank account or PayPal account. I am very sceptical about this.

Our reward program is not a scam. We are the partner company of Youfibre when it comes either to a referral done from someone or when it comes to a cashback for signing up with Youfibre. You must have joined the cashback promotion, which rewards you with money when you place an order with Youfibre. We already replied to your email to explain you more. The money is ready in your Aklamio account to be paid out.

How do you actually connect to customer service?

I tried to place an this morning but a message appeared on my screen saying that the session was timed out. I didn't get any order confirmation so I placed the order again and both orders were processed. I need to cancel one order but there is no response from the live chat after waiting for 30 minutes and when I tried to call the customer service number, there are no agents available. Once the dispatch email arrives I will need to return one of the items but this could and should be sorted without me being inconvenienced.

Cannot fault any of the service

We switched from BT to YouFibre and it's been faultless from start to finish. Ordering the package we wanted and choosing our installation date was very easy and we had regular updates via email about what to expect a couple of days before installation, and on installation day. Our engineer, Scott, was brilliant! He phoned about 20 minutes before he arrived, treated our home with respect and was very efficient in getting our WiFi up and running. He connected our TV to the new network and made sure we were happy with everything before he left. I'm very happy with everything so far. 😃

Time to leave BT

We've been BT customers for almost 35 years now and we've always been very happy with the service until now. Our broadband contract is due for renewal in November so I contacted them to explore the options available. We currently pay £32 per month for broadband only with approximately 25mbps speed which is ok but we thought we would upgrade to 150mbps on full fibre for 24 months. To do this, we would need to pay £34 per month from November, £36 per month from March 2026 and £40 per month from March 2027. For a broadband only contract this is expensive. There was no incentive to remain a loyal customer to BT, especially when we were told that a fixed tariff broadband package with the same hub would be £35 per month for 25mbps. New customers seem to get the best deals but loyalty seems to mean nothing anymore. We're now with a new provider with 150mbps for £23.99 per month.

Delighted with the service from The Wheel Specialist

I had a disagreement with a kerb while driving my Mercedes and as expected the kerb won! The front passenger alloy wheel was scuffed and scratched and obviously needed some attention. I took the car to The Wheel Specialist where it was assessed and I was reassured it could be refurbished. I booked the car for the refurbishment and dropped it off on Monday morning at 0800am and by 1300 the following lunchtime I collected it. The refurbishment is first class! I am absolutely delighted with it and I must say that every member of the team I met were so helpful,friendly and professional. I was happily surprised at the price of the refurbishment as I was expecting it to be more expensive. I highly recommend The Wheel Specialist and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Wholly unacceptable service from Yodel

Yet again I find myself having to complain about Yodel. Today my parcel was apparently left in my safe place "front porch" I don't have a front porch so I would never select this as a safe place for deliveries. My parcel was left at the front door in full view of anyone who might have taken the opportunity to steal it! Surely the delivery driver must have seen there was no porch? Why couldn't he/she have taken the parcel around the back of the house and left it safely out of sight? This is quite frankly unacceptable service from Yodel.

My parcel is being held hostage!

I ordered an item from Amazon which was via a third party seller. Yodel received the parcel on November 26th and as from the 10th of December it's been at the national hub. I have tried live chat with no response and the phone line is automated with no option to actually speak to someone as it's closed! I emailed a complaint and I received a reply today with an apology saying the expected delivery date was December 13th! I have given up hope of receiving my parcel! I've even tried Twitter (X) in the hope of receiving a response but to no avail. Wholly unacceptable!

Excellent customer service

I ordered an item via Amazon which was delayed in arriving. When I contacted the company I was kept up to date with the delivery progress and also received an apology for the delay which wasn't the fault of the company. The item arrived safely and I am really happy with it. I would use this company in the future.

Excellent service from start to finish

I placed an order for a new mattress with Bensons for Beds and I have been very impressed with the entire process. Order confirmation email arrived shortly after I placed the order and then I had two further emails and text messages regarding my delivery date and time. As promised I received a phone call about 30 minutes ahead of my delivery and the two guys who delivered my mattress were excellent. Both removed their shoes and carefully took the mattress upstairs, unwrapped it and placed it on my bed. Then they have me advice on airing it before using it. All in all I have had excellent service from Bensons.

Excellent service from this company

I placed an order for garden dining furniture with Robert Dyas and BJS were the delivery company allocated to deliver it. I was kept fully updated on the progress of my delivery via WhatsApp and my three hour delivery window was 1400-1700 on May 15th. At 1300 I received a text message saying my delivery would be with me at 1540 and at 1545 two smashing guys arrived at my house. They handled all the packages with care and attention, carefully bringing them to the back of the house. I cannot fault BJS at all for the top class service provided to me.

Not overly excited with my purchase

I ordered an 18 inch heart figaro chain necklace but decided a 22 inch length would be better so I used live chat to change the order which was easy. The original order was cancelled and a new one placed but it was for a 22 inch length figaro chain necklace and separate heart pendant. When I queried this on live chat I was assured that I would receive my original order in a 22inch length. The necklace arrived the following day with the pendant separately. When I attached it to the chain it wouldn't sit flat against my neck at all. I imagine the original necklace I ordered would be the same. I don't know if I'll wear the necklace as it's more stainless steel coloured than silver but I've put the heart charm on my keyring. I don't think I'll order from this company again as it's expensive for what it is.

Excellent customer service

I bought a Keswick riser recliner chair for my dad from a local company (Hackett and Baines in Shildon County Durham, and their service was superb) but I totally forgot to register for the after sales warranty and when I realised, I had missed the 30 day window by 5 days. I emailed the company and asked if I could purchase the warranty as it was my fault I had forgotten to post the paperwork. I received a lovely reply from Julie who said just to post the paperwork and the warranty would be in place when they receive it. This is excellent customer service in my opinion and my dad is very happy with the chair.

Beautiful stemless wine glasses

I bought two stemless wine glasses from the Sagada range after seeing Cornet Barcelona on Instagram and I'm delighted with them. They are just perfect for my husband who prefers the stemless glass and the colours are just beautiful. Susana kept me well informed about the progress of my order and nothing seemed too much trouble with my query.

Excellent service and excellent hamper

I ordered a Christmas Glee Alcohol Free Hamper as a gift for some friends and I am delighted with it. The box itself is lovely and the hamper has some really nice food and treats inside. I had a query about the delivery and Gareth from the company assured me it was enroute after a slight delay to ensure my hamper had the freshest things inside. I'm really pleased with the service and the hamper.

Would not use Go Skippy in the future

For the second time in 2 months my request to make changes to my policy has had to be referred to the underwriter! In August I tried to add my daughter to the policy via the online portal but it was unable to provide a quote. After going through the details on the phone I was told that the request needed to go to the underwriter with no explanation or reason!
Now I am changing my vehicle and once again I tried the online portal which said yet again it could not provide a quote. 30 minutes on the phone to a very helpful lady carefully going over the details of the new vehicle, double checking everything, only to find that again with no reason or explanation, my request to change the vehicle needed to be referred to the underwriter! A decision will be made in up to 48 hours apparently! I'm collecting my car on 6th October and I have no idea if this company will insure it or not! Never in over 35 years of driving have I had requests to amend policy details referred to an underwriter!
I will definitely not renew my policy with this company and I would hope that if they cannot insure my new car, they waive the ridiculous £75 cancellation fee.

Disappointed with this company

I want to add my daughter to my policy and it's proved very difficult to do so. I tried using the online portal but it repeatedly said that a quote was unavailable. Not sure why as my daughter has had an unblemished driving licence since 2011. Tried calling and when I finally got to speak to someone I was told they were too busy to talk to me and could I call back in an hour? When I called back I was told that "all the systems had gone down" and could I call back another day!
I tried the portal again with no joy so I called again on 26th August. I was able to speak to someone who told me there was an admin fee on £50 before the quote was issued and this would be £35 if I used the portal. I explained the issue I was having with the portal and it was agreed I would only pay £35 admin fee.
We ran through all of the questions to get my daughter added but it was refused! Once again no reason why and it's now being passed to the underwriter to assess and decide if my daughter can be added to my policy. Unbelievable! I've never experienced anything like this with previous insurance companies and I'm really not impressed with Go Skippy. I won't be renewing my policy next year.
