Satisfactory product, but ineffective packaging.

The light bulbs arrived within the estimated delivery time, and I am happy with the products themselves. However, I wasn't too impressed by the packaging. Although the items had been protected inside to an extent by means of a layer of bubble wrap before being placed in a plastic bag for dispatch, when the package arrived it was very wet. On retrieving the bulbs I discovered that the individual cardboard boxes were also damp and misshapen. Fortunately, the bulbs themselves are okay. I would recommend that you switch to using more effective packaging to afford more protection against the elements.

Review of Magic Hose

A complete waste of money, and appalling customer service.

Never in my entire life have I wasted money on such a shoddy product. Within just a few days the hose had sprung a leak in three separate places. Not only is this completely unacceptable in itself for a "new" item, but it also means that I am unable to take the hose through the house to access the front garden as the leaks cause flooding all over the carpets!!

I have complained to 'Magic Hose' but have still received no acknowledgment.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! You will be throwing your money away.

Wrong bouquet (and message) delivered

Last week I ordered a bouquet to be sent to my son and his girlfriend as they have recently been going through a very hard time and I wanted to give them a nice surprise. On the arranged delivery date I received a message from my son, telling me that they had received some flowers with a message for somebody else, and had I arranged a delivery of flowers? He also sent me a couple of photos, and I could see straight away that these were not the ones I had ordered. To add insult to injury, it was a smaller and cheaper bouquet, and of course the glass vase that I had paid extra for hadn't been included. I explained that I had indeed arranged for some flowers to be delivered, but told him that clearly the order had been mixed up with someone else's. My son naturally made light of it and thanked me very much for the thought, but I was furious. What an incredibly careless thing to do!! As far as I was concerned, the surprise had been ruined :(

I contacted Clare Florist immediately (via email, as calling doesn't appear to be an option) and told them in no uncertain terms that I was extremely unhappy. To be fair, I did receive an apology the following day, and was assured that my original order would be sent the very next day, which it was.

I can see from other reviews that this is not an isolated occurrence. Clearly this company needs to take a good look at itself.

Absolutely fuming!!

Absolutely fuming!!! Having rescheduled a delivery for today, and having taken the day off work for this sole reason, the item hasn't arrived!!!

Of course, no tracking number was left on the card last time around which makes it impossible to pursue.

Cheers, Parcelforce. I shall be making a formal complaint for lost income as a result of today. :(

Excellent service!

Jason arrived in good time to deal with a potentially very precarious situation. My offside front tyre had burst whilst travelling in the fast lane on the A30 and I had no choice but to park on the verge. Not only did Jason call the emergency services ahead of his arrival, to check that I was safe, but in addition to fitting the replacement tyre he also examined the other three which were also in need of replacement. Thank you, Jason, for the heads up. All new tyres have now been fitted! :)

Once again my items were not left…

Once again my items were not left according to my delivery instructions!!!! I clearly state that, if I am not at home, then could they please leave it in my next-door-neighbour's safe box, with a clear description of where the box is (it's right there in full view of the road! You can't miss it!) When I try to check or change my delivery instructions the app doesn't allow me to do so! What's the point?!??

Satisfied overall.

Overall, I am very happy. I often struggle to find shoes that fit well and are comfortable to wear all day, but these definitely fulfil both criteria. They also look good, of course! The one down-side is that they seem to mark and stain VERY easily, which is disappointing as they are made of leather, so this isn't something I would expect to see quite so soon.

Appallingly inept and insensitive customer service.

This one goes back six years to when my husband sadly passed away from cancer. After his death I had the onerous task of contacting all companies with which he had a connection. I wrote to them all by hand and heard back from all of them except for Barclaycard. I continued to receive statements from the company - addressed to my late husband - so I naturally assumed they hadn't received my letter. I therefore called the customer services department, explaining the situation. The young lad on the other end couldn't have sounded more bored if he'd tried. There were no apologies for the continued mail I had been receiving on my husband's behalf, and certainly no words of condolence. Anyway, I was told that it would "all be sorted". Unbelievably, I have continued to receive occasional statements from Barclaycard (I should have mentioned that no funds were owed). I decided to simply dispose of the letters whenever they arrived. However, last week I received yet another communication from them, stating:
"Dear George,
We've noticed that you haven't used your Barclaycard for two years or more, so we think you may no longer need it. That's why we'll be closing your account on 29 May 2023."

Needless to say, this really was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Never have I received such appallingly inept and insensitive customer service from a company in this way.

Hopefully somebody from Barclaycard will see this review and take note.

Faultless service from beginning to end.

I cannot fault the service I have received from Tapi Exeter, from the home visit right through to the fitting stage. Dan, the agent who came to see us with a variety of assorted samples, was courteous, informative and helpful, and didn't attempt to push us into a speedy decision. I also called the store on a couple of occasions with a few queries, and spoke to Aaron, who again was very helpful (and patient!)

The fitting itself went extremely smoothly, and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. The carpet looks and feels amazing! Matt and Alex arrived promptly on the day, and worked tirelessly and meticulously and to an extremely high standard. They were friendly, courteous and professional in their approach, and left the house clean and tidy before leaving. They were also very helpful when it came to moving some pretty heavy items of furniture! I still can't quite believe that they managed to re-carpet the entire house in just one day!! Thank you so much for completely transforming my home. :) I would recommend Tapi without hesitation.

I'm very happy with this service

I'm very happy with this service. I received an email notification from the retail company three days prior to delivery, confirming when the item was due to be delivered and giving an initial delivery window. As promised, on the day of delivery I was sent a text from APC confirming my two-hour window. The item was duly delivered at the correct time, and the driver was extremely polite and courteous, kindly moving the (very heavy!) boxes into the appropriate place. Excellent service! Thank you. :)

Such a beautiful container and exactly what I wanted!

I had been searching for a very long time for what I felt was an appropriate urn to keep my husband's ashes in, but sadly had been unable to find anything suitable. I was therefore delighted to finally come across 'Aesthetic Urns Ltd.' online. This company offers a wide range of original and very beautiful containers in a variety of materials, and I was spoilt for choice! The design I eventually opted for is exactly as it appears on the website, and I am very, very happy indeed with it. Thank you! :)

Good, prompt service.

I have been very impressed by the speed at which the issue with my washing machine was sorted, particularly at this time of year (the run-up to Christmas). It took just two working days from my initial claim for an engineer to come out and identify the fault. The very next day I received notification from Domestic and General that the machine was beyond repair and that they would be replacing it. I was offered a selection of similar models for to choose from, and within two days my new machine had arrived! I would definitely recommend this company.
