Interesting surveys and good rewards

Of all the online surveys I do I think YLive has the most variety and screens me out least frequently. Payments also made quite quickly after reaching the minimum £50 mark, which makes any period of time taken to reach it seem worthwhile.

Excellent service from Adam

Excellent service from Adam. Friendly, professional and explained what was wrong and what he did to fix my boiler, which was not firing. Also advised how an engineer arranged 3 days earlier through my insurance company could have completed the job but didn't. I would have been spared a lot of grief, as well as saving time, if I'd gone to Plumbingforce in the first place.

Welcome to the 21st century!

Congratulations, PopulusLive, on coming into the 21st century! A transfer directly into my bank account is such an improvement on the previous system of getting a cheque through the post. Back then I had to trek into town on the bus (5 miles each way in my case) to pay it into a bank.

Guaranteed 10p every weekday that you click on a link for the 'admin survey', and usually higher payments for surveys completed. Payout is on achieving £12, so it doesn't take too long to get there!

Although I had to wait more than the predicted 1 minute for my enquiry to be answered, I had excellent service from Nicole who undertook to advance my request for contact with the fitters.

Quick and easy ordering process, although it probably helped that I knew exactly what type of experience I wanted to buy. There's a pretty good range of gifts, and well described so you can see exactly what you're getting.

Poor communication

I signed up to Global Test Market several years ago and, apart from not always being awarded points for surveys I had completed, but which were given after I raised a query, I had no problems. In recent months, however, the member 'help' link within my account (i.e. after signing in) has not worked at all, and I have effectively been locked out of my account (with £40 worth of points waiting to be redeemed) as the site keeps rejecting my password even after I've reset it, supposedly successfully according to the message that comes up on screen. Global Test Market has provided a help link on their home page, and which is accessible without the need to sign in, but I have received no responses to at least 3 messages I've sent using the facility in the past couple of weeks or so.

The reward I ordered had a value of …

The reward I ordered had a value of £20, but cost much time in completing surveys plus 50p. The overall financial cost was therefore £20.50 - not my idea of a 'reward' when other survey companies pay the full amount earned.

Good, friendly service

I haven't been with Utility Warehouse for long, but so far I'm happy. One improvement I would like to see to the service is some sort of facility for identifying the cost of a 'phone call without having to wait for the next bill. Some other providers can do this, so I know it is possible. I enquired about this service a week after making a call which was supposedly routed through an '0800' number, after dialling a geographical (0207) one, and although the person I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful, she was not able to fully resolve my query.
