Money back guarantee not honoured

The colour changing foundation was a gamble, but with the money back guarantee I went ahead. The colour looked awful, started turning an off grey colour as it developed, the coverage was poor but adding more just made it look caked on. So email the company asking for a return. And again a week later. And again. No response to date. Do I mind products not working for me? No. Do I mind being mis-sold a product with a guarantee the company won’t follow through with. Yes. Don’t use this company. The company clearly have no customer service ethics and the products are too expensive to risk when they wont follow through with the money back guarantee

Money down the drain

Thought this would be a more lasting version of the Sally Hansen airbrush legs - sucked in by the adverts on social media I bought two different colours and the brush. It arrived almost 2 weeks later, I waited until I’d showered and had shaved my legs to try and get the best results. Even the light is thick and cakey, it goes on orange and even with the brush it’s impossible to get an even colour. I tried to take a photo and it glowed a bright yellow, so if you have this product on for an event be aware you will look toxic in photos! It does stay on as I tried scrubbing it off in the shower and found it to be very sticky and tough to remove. It doesn’t cover blemishes as it says, unless you really go to town on applying it, but be warned, it’s soooo thick it will just sit on your skin like you’d covered it in foundation. Awful stuff, not making this mistake with social media products again, really need to remember the amount of AI generated ads and reviews that are out there before I get sucked in!

Found a builder through Bark

Found a builder through Bark, got a quote, work started and it all went wrong. Spoke to Bark to complain and asked the builder was not made aware. Bark promptly told him of the complaint and he walked out on the job with £7500 of my money, work incomplete, having also not paid the sub contractors. Bark admitted they do not vet companies and it was optional for companies to provide their insurance details. I’m owed significant money and having to go through court to get it back. Bark have since struck him off but turns out he’s done this several times before. Don’t assume Bark vet these companies - they don’t

Prints were great

Prints were great, customer service were great when I had a small issue and went out of their way to help and replace a faulty item. Really helpful and decent, can take a little while to get a reply but they are a small business so do bear with them, you won’t be disappointed

Incredibly poor service

Incredibly poor service. Booked a bag which turned up so late I had to buy one from B&Q to ensure the collection could be made the following day as it was close to Xmas. Despite three calls assuring me I could get collection before Xmas (the alternative being I would cancel and get another company to collect) the delivery was arranged and then promptly cancelled due to a broken down lorry. I received a message saying it would move to the following day and I was assured I would be called. No call and no collection. I now have pointlessly dragged all my items onto the drive and into the bag and the company now won’t collect until at least 2nd Jan. None of this was made clear on the website when purchasing the bag and when I was told over the phone and then I asked to cancel I was assured they would sort it out. I have no parking space now, the bag is partially blocking my neighbours access to an alley where I foolishly believed it would only be for a few hours, and I could have got rid of all of this for free by taking it to the dump if I hadn’t stupidly believed that paying a company to recycle it would just be easier. Really poor service and lacking any honesty, on top of builders leaving me with almost £3k worth of damage to fix right on top of Xmas has left me with a pretty bitter taste in my mouth

I’ve ordered several pairs of glasses from this company and they do not disappoint! Every pair I’ve had is fabulous, people are always commenting on them. They arrive fast, such good value, and most importantly they fit! I’ve had so many pairs from shops and online that don’t stay on, I’ve never had that problem with Vooglam. Incredible service and value for money

Prices made up and orders not fulfilled

Have had a membership for about 6 months.l and purchased frequently. Previously returned items for store credit but when I tried to purchase items in the sale was not allowed to use my credit to pay for them at that price, I could only purchase them at full price. After demanding a refund (refused) and cancellation of my account (allowed only if they retained my money - not acceptable) I eventually was allowed to purchase the items at the price initially advertised when I suggested I would complain to the ombudsman. 10 days ago I purchased 3 outfits all with 50% off, however, the order was never dispatched. After days of trying to work out what was happening I was told to cancel and reorder, finally getting agreement I could still have the discount. However, items were all now out of stock and I was offered a 20% discount on anything else. No attempt was made to track my order or replace my items and I have now cancelled my membership. The poor service and variations in the price of items (often only in the sale and even then depending on how you want to pay) is not worth the effort despite the clothing all being great.

Refund refusal

Having previously returned items for store credit rather than cash, I tried to purchase 3 items in the sale. However, when I went to use the credit the price shot up by £50. Customer services said the discounts don’t apply to store credit which is ridiculous, something is in the sale or it isn’t! I asked for my money back and was refused. When I asked to cancel they told me they are entitled to keep my money (almost £70!). I will now be raising this with the ombudsman
