COPART SOLD A CAR THAT DOES NOT RUN AND WAS STATED RUN AND DRIVE ON THE WEBSITE ,no engine oil in the vehicle and does not start. No response to my complaints a,no positive action taken, This not acceptable I need my refund

I got a car from copart and it was clearly stated run and drive but it didn’t start no engine oil which copart where aware on the pickup day .diagnoses shows gear box fault
This is nonsense ,no response from me since I raise my complaint .this must be looked into …I would sue this company and all that it stands for .i would escalate this

At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart's location, Copart verified that the vehicle (i) started (ii) could be put into gear, and (iii) was capable of moving forward under its own power. There is no guarantee, representation or warranty that the vehicle is in roadworthy condition or can be driven lawfully upon the highways in any state or country. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that the vehicle will (i) start, (ii) drive, or (iii) move forward under its own power at the time the vehicle is picked up at Copart's location or when it is delivered to a Copart Member. It is the Member's sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect and/or investigate the vehicle prior to bidding on it. Once the vehicle is removed from Copart's premises the Member accepts the vehicle "as is."
Our expectation is that all trade members complete pre-auction checks prior to bidding to ensure they are fully satisfied with lots as all bids are legally binding. Members are advised of our Run and Drive criteria when joining the live auction and are asked to confirm their understanding of this. Please ensure this is reviewed so that you have a clear understanding of the Run and Drive criteria going forward. We would also recommend conducting Pre-Auction checks prior to placing any bids; you can see a list of recommended checks on our website - https://support.copart.co.uk/faq/pre-auction-checks/.

Got a vehicle on auction and paid ,on getting to compare to pick the car upon 07/05/2025 ,the vehicle didn’t start which was not stated before auction, petrol was put in the vehicle to try start it at copart all to no avail was advised to move it to the mechanic as the engine oil is completely dried off ,after the vehicle was transported to a mechanic in Scotland,engine oil was added still didn’t start. I am so unhappy about all of these ,
I have raised a complaint on 08/05/2025 still no response
Now the vehicle is stocked at the garage ,money fully paid ,vehicle can’t move nor start .no one is doing anything about this

We do make every effort to ensure we provide accurate descriptions of lots; however, our descriptions are based solely on a visual inspection of the lot to ascertain the primary and secondary areas of damage present.
There’s some actions that you can take when bidding on vehicles to help make sure you’re fully aware of the vehicles condition, such as:
• Thoroughly review all Lot images, using the HD option for better picture quality
• Review the Vehicle Report so you’re happy the vehicle information is correct
• Purchase a virtual viewing through our Member Services team which allows you to view the vehicle via video call
• Conduct HPI/Autogenetix checks before placing any bids
