I hope for those of you still waiting for your gifts, that your SSs are still working on them. Merry (almost) 3 months late Christmas.  

I was really bummed out that I didn't receive my gift. I'll still do this again in the future, but I really hope next time that I'll actually get something :(

As of this moment and going off this year’s turnout/results, we’re not sure if we’ll do another run, but we’ll let everyone know.

Hey, I haven't received my gift yet, but honestly I just want to thank you guys for all the hard work you've put into this. It's such a fun event, especially around the holidays, and I really enjoyed being a part of it, gift or not. Sorry some people are being kind of bitter about the current situation, but I really appreciate what you do. Thank you so much!

I’m really sorry about that, but thank you very much for the positive outlook. I know it seriously sucks to have put effort into your gift and not received anything back, but I promise, promise that every year we’ve done this, we’ve tried so hard to prevent this problem, but it’s just really impossible to account for everyone. People disappear, delete, are too busy, have emergencies, etc. 

As much as we try to hold everyone to their word, we can only do so much. We tried a new plan this year and unfortunately, it didn’t work as well as we hoped. It’s still no excuse, but we’re open to ideas as always (should this continue).

For those of us that may still be working on our gifts (I know I still am due to extenuating circumstances), can we still submit to this blog once we are finished or should we contact our recipient directly?

Any news? I mean, this is ridiculous... it's been almost 2 months.. maybe next year, have a system where you can't receive your secret santa until you make yours? It might encourage people to actually submit theirs...

We are deeply sorry for the current situation. Our mods have been trying really hard to continue to coordinate this year’s event, but given the fandom environment after the finale it has been immensely difficult, to say the least. We sincerely apologize to those of you who have not yet received a gift. Feel free to send us constructive criticism on the running of this year’s event and we will take it into consideration if there are plans to ever host another.

we’re still in the process of communicating with gifters, granting extensions, and contacting backups. we’re definitely doing our best to work with the current fandom situation and get as many of those gifts out as possible.
