Ive sketched up some concept for a game called “The leaning tower of Pizza” while being away from the computer (Sorry for the bad quality nothing worth reading anyway). Its basically Wario Land 2 puzzle solving with the Wario Land 4 rush mechanic has your main move. You need to find ways to gain enough momentum to defeat enemies, jump gaps or crash into walls in order to progress. Like Wario Land there is also transformations with positive and negative aspects. The knight one for example makes you resist fire but also heavy and unable to jump very high. You cant die but you can lose key items or fall down to previous stage if you mess up.

I like the idea so much that Ive started working on a prototype and done about all of the main character animations. Im pushing the Wiener game back for this because I wasnt feeling the frankenstein game mechanics that didnt mesh well togheter. I also get a precise frame of reference because its pretty much a tribute to one of my favorite game serie.

Will show it off when it looks at least half decent with a proper background and level.
