Absolutely vile customer service
The shop will happily take your money and wash their hands of you. I was advised on a rooftop tent and told it would be compatible and fit my car. After purchasing I was told it couldn’t be taken out the box in store. Once home I mounted it to the car to see it was absolutely not compatible and far too big.
I contacted the call centre who were exceptionally rude and nasty on the phone. After being pushed around and sent back to the store and passed from person to person over the phone for the best part of a week my claim for a refund was denied. The store manager agreed I had been misadvised and that the tent was not fit for purpose. The claims departed still refused to refund me and made up every excuse to keep my money. The way I was spoken to on the phone was rude and belittling.
I also have looked online for reviews and it’s clear when looking on mass that the store is creating fake reviews en mass across social media.
Having spoke to other experts in the industry they advised that they see people like me (missold on their purchases from 4WD Supacentre) all the time. Do not buy from them!!

Gazebo ripped in half after 2 weeks
Kings gazebo ripped in half after 2 weeks of use, and they rejected my warranty claim because I told them there was light rain at the time, so they said I "misused it due to adverse weather conditions". Ha! Horrible product and company. Stay well away.

BUYERS BEWARE
BUYERS BEWARE. I purchased a Kings Escape 20 Fridge freezer and accessories as a surprise Christmas present for my husband. He was delighted with it, but decided he might to exchange it for a larger model. At first, the staff were reluctant because they said we hadn’t returned within 30 days (purchased 27.11.25, returned 27.12.25). As their computer had accepted the return, we fetched the item from the car. Husband had opened the tape on the box to look at his present. It was at this point they flatly refused to exchange the item, as it was against their ‘policy’ to accept opened boxes, as they ‘can’t resell’?! They advised that perhaps we could sell it on Facebook Marketplace!
DO NOT OPEN THE BOX IF YOU WANT TO EXCHANGE FOR A LARGER ITEM, OR RETURN - and if there’s a fault with it, be prepared to wave your money ‘bye-bye’.
THIS COMPANY IS SERIOUSLY DODGY, and evidently not interested in customer satisfaction.

Customer service non existent. Purchased and paid for a Kings fridge click and collect Greenacre. Drove 40 mins to pick up today only to be told they don’t have any in stock and it sold out 2 months ago sorry. When asked for another store they showed me that only qld stores had stock and said policy was he couldn’t give me refund and I needed to call customer centre. I called and they didn’t seem to care at all. He wasn’t interested in helping me get one of the fridges from another store when I mentioned it “ that’s there stock”. Complete waste of time and crap service.
