1. *Subject*: A Deeply Flawed and Demeaning Platform
My experience with Coople CHwas profoundly negative. The platform appears to be designed entirely for employer convenience, with little to no regard for employee welfare or dignity. The treatment of staff can feel impersonal and exploitative.
Furthermore, I witnessed and experienced questionable practices during the hiring and assignment process that seemed discriminatory towards foreign workers. This created a hostile and unfair environment for individuals simply seeking employment.
I cannot recommend Coople.CH If you are looking for temporary or agency work, I had significantly better experiences with platforms like StaffCloud and Adecco, which offered more professional treatment, transparent processes, and a greater sense of respect for their employees.

Hands off coople. Apart from being hired last minute and then being at fault for not arriving on time, even though it would have been impossible due to the distance or the short term communication. Jobs are assigned at random and not based on experience. Sometimes jobs are rejected randomly on coople, two of my ex employers also used coople in some rare occasions and the app had some bugs where applications just got randomly rejected. They have very poor costumer service. I’ve raised a valid concern because the process of approving certain diplomas is unreliable. I wanted to get some additional hours over my semester break but to get approved to work in the field I already have been working in part time for the last 3 years and am currently working in you need a specific certification which costs around 4000CHF to attain and has no further value apart from the diploma at the end which you get even if you didn’t learn anything because you paid such a high fee. Most hospitals don’t require them or don’t even want them because it says nothing about work experience. But coople insists on it which makes me think that they have some kind of backhand deal with this certification company. Friends of mine had similar issues in other fields. Coople doesn’t have any real interest in helping you finding a job they’re just selling our personal information to the highest bidder. They also don’t care about experience or the employment standards in the fields they’re promoting their jobs in.

We've been working with Coople for years now, and they've never let us down. The team is supportive, making our work a breeze. And the platform itself is super user-friendly. Highly recommend them!

I’m a very experienced professional in catering and hospitality, after the second rejection with the silly message to review my CV, I proceed to delete my account.
You can’t see how many candidates are before, we are in London not in a small city, which it supposed to be plenty of opportunities but instead a huge amount of fakers.
I feel unwelcome and also lost all my savings to survive by waiting those ridiculous apps and London recruiters.
From now on, I’m not going to waste more time for any job apps, because this isn’t the only one, there are more where Clients are not respecting the good and experienced people.

I didn't find Coople very good, but I decided not to continue due to the few work advertised was completely irrelevant and after reading the full description I was left without knowing who the employer was are where on Google maps. I don't like the profiling it doesn't do any good. It's distracts and I didn't upload any documents. I won't be using this again and can only say its a waste of time
Edit: it seems pointless now because I found a permanent employment since writing the review. However, if the feedback is helpful to consider the applicants situation. For me using the service was very cold faced. There is more to consider and barter with when considering employment. Thanks for the reply 👍

If you enjoy working for a company that is racist and discriminates this is the company. Customer service slow and miserable on responding. If English is your first language walk away from this company.

The practices of this company are extremely unfair and lack transparency. Their method of assigning shifts is not only cumbersome but also unpredictable. It seems they reserve certain shifts for their regular staff, even when other workers, like myself, possess the necessary skills and qualifications to handle the role. This approach is discriminatory and undermines fair access to work opportunities. I strongly recommend they learn from companies like IndeedFlex, which implement equitable and efficient systems.
Additionally, I was unjustly blocked from their platform for simply raising a valid concern. I was assigned a job only 30 minutes before its start time, despite informing them that it would take me two hours to get there. Instead of addressing this logistical issue or providing support, they penalized me by blocking my access to future opportunities. This action was not only unjust but also a blatant violation of my fundamental rights.
Under the Equality Act 2010, employers and service providers are required to ensure fair and equal treatment in the allocation of work. Reserving shifts for certain workers while excluding others without clear, justifiable reasons may constitute indirect discrimination. Furthermore, the Employment Rights Act 1996 highlights the importance of fair treatment of workers, especially in terms of access to assignments and fair processes for grievances.
Blocking me for exercising my right to communicate a legitimate concern also raises concerns under the Human Rights Act 1998, which protects the right to freedom of expression (Article 10) and the right to not be treated unfairly (Article 14). Penalizing me for an issue beyond my control demonstrates a lack of respect for these principles and undermines the trust workers place in such platforms.

No jobs even after having relevant experience. No support from the team. You will just be counting the number of rejections via notification and email.

I have extensive experience working across hospitality at senior level. Upon creating my profile they would refuse to ‘approve’ my experience. After speaking with their ‘support team’ I was left feeling offended. With all the reputable events I’ve managed across the world they would continue to call me ‘novice’ in my field. Despite over 10 years experience managing across the world they would continue to say that my work doesn’t amount to 3 years. The model makes no sense.
There are far better on demand staffing models out there. Coople employ people that have no experience in hospitality, they are rude and provide no help.
I would stay away and use other on demand channels
Waste of time. Disrespectful towards people who are looking for job. Not enough jobs available. Late replies. Rude representatives.
Things that I like about Coople is that is easy and efficient to use, with the App is very practical und smart. What I would suggest is that you should put more prepositions for work in the nursery profession (Pflege) and a lot more opportunities in the city of Bern directly. What I would also like to see is a possibility to work Temporarily somewhere for a motion or two, or for few months, and not only to have a Nofall-Pool assignments for a day or two. Also the payment I find it comes very late. Everything else is very good, creative und very functional.
Great agency who is really concern and taking a good care of its staff.Thank you Coople. I am proud to be part of your team.
