The Perfect Keyboard
I cannot believe that you had the keyboard I needed for my older model HP computer. I had worn off the letters on the keys from using it so much! And best of all, the one you shipped me was the identical version, including the special sound control keys!

The customer service is VERY responsive. We would definitely purchase from CTS in the future. The only caveat is that for purchases of a certain amount, I would rather have the option to pay for FEDEX or UPS because the USPS is inconsistent.

My original choice wasn't available & the one CTS offered is SO much better...
My original scanner choice wasn't available. Alan offered a couple of different possibilities & sent the specs to compare to make my choice easier.
The scanner came solidly packaged (which, if you've ever used a tabloid scanner, is a VERY BIG deal...) & worked right out of the box with my Silverfast scanning software.
Reluctantly fine
They sent me used memory that did not work the first time. They sent me another used one this time but it works. They even managed to find a little caser for it. Thanks, I guess.
Shopping concierge, great service
I received a call from Frank after placing an order, stating the item will be used and the price is adjusted accordingly. Turns out Frank is ordering from a big online marketplace on behalf of me. However, the item does come functional and the price is right, so I consider him as a good shopping concierge.
One thing worth to mention. The original shipment is missing an IO shield and Frank also ordered one to me for free. Kudos to him!

Bait and Switch
As usual they claim they have a new printer in stock, but when you order it - they use the old "bait and switch" tactic and try and sell you a refurbished unit. If you can't keep your inventory straight; why bother being in business????

Refused to honor advertised price
Refused to honor advertised price.
After order for item listed as "in stock" was placed, they tried to jack up the price by over $200 saying the "new stock" was more expensive. Super shady!

Poorly packaged
Poorly packaged. The monitor had some bubble wrap around each side of the monitor but the center was not protected. The two pieces of the monitor stand were not wrapped and sitting loose in the box.
Fortunately they did not destroy the screen during shipment .

Deceptive sales practice
I was shopping for the new (not refurbished) SSD drive from Samsung (4T EVO) and came across the CTA Point site.
Online item indicated the price but did not indicate whether the item was new or refurbished. This is why I engaged in the conversation with sales representative Alan who was helpful and offered a competitive price for the new item. Based on communicated shipping time the item was expected to be in stock. I made a purchase following online link prepared by the sales rep.
Almost a calendar week (and 3 business days) later I received the email from Alan that the item was not in stock with the option of cancelling the order or waiting.
I made a call to the company for the estimated wait time when I learned (speaking to another sales rep) that if I wait for the item I would have to pay a different and higher price and not the price I ordered the item for. The sales rep on the call offered "an upgraded item" for the purchase price - which upon further questions was revealed as refurbished item I declined to buy 1 full calendar week ago.
Also, the explanation I was given why item I ordered is out of stock that another customer made the purchase same time I was making my order.
I categorize the experience as deceptive since:
* the online order did not indicate the item as out of stock - as it would happen if item was removed from the inventory while I was going through check out
* the sales rep knew the status of the inventory for a new item during roughly 5 minutes long conversation
* the updated status of the inventory was communicated way after the order was placed, which makes my assume
- that either the item was not in stock when I was placing the order
- OR the company has waited to sell the item to another customer for higher price before deciding which customer gets the item shipped and communicated to me around the time of fulfilling the order (ordered 12/31, communicated 1/5).
Either practice is deceptive and requesting higher price for fulfilling the backordered item is another unacceptable practice.
