My under aged daughter subscribed
My under aged daughter subscribed, a 7 days trial on the app for me, we payed 7,99 eur. But without knowing she was subscribing a month, and yesterday I was charged 130 euros.
I contacted the customer serviços help, and they refused to return the amount. And even offered me an extension of 6 month service. I didnt even used 1 day of the 7 days experience.
I explained that was a mistaken subscription and that I need the money Back. I Will do everything to get my money Back! And this is a shitty customer service and shitty information to us when we try the Dancebit for the 7 days ( try out) because the subscription is automático without we know!! I Will complain until I have my money Back!!

I have fallen foul twice to subscription problems to Dancebit. They are gung-ho claiming different amounts from my bank account. Luckily some have been stopped by my bank security.
Totally unacceptable. Advise not to engage with them.
Decided immediately after giving my…
Decided immediately after giving my credit card info that it was not for me. They said I had a free trial and I would be cancelled after my 3 months. I never opened an account or downloaded their app and they continually tried to keep me as a customer. I disputed the charge and they claim they gave me the service. No service was given. I declined any additional service they offered. There are many negative reviews as far as cancellation and customer service. They quit responding to my concerns.
Stay away from this app
Stay away from this app! They make cancelling a nightmare, so I sent an email cancelling the app. They gave me convoluted canceling "directions" then continued to charge me! They are unethical and deceiving.
I cancelled after the free trial and…
I cancelled after the free trial and they continued to charge me for 5 months without authorization! £275 in total! It never showed up as an app subscription on my iphone - extremely misleading and confusing.
SCAM
I cannot get the customer service bot to answer the actual question im asking. It keeps sending me the same message which isn't solving my problem. Im on a loop I can't get out of and can't find a phone number.
Awful company
Awful company. Totally untransparent. Charged me nearly £700 that I was unaware of taken out of my account. Currently in the process of trying to get a refund. Don’t go anywhere near this company.
Scam!!!
I signed up on oct 23. I never could open the app, and no matter how many times I contacted them nothing could help me to get into the app. Now it doesn't seems to be possible to get out of the subscription again
RUN!!! and make sure that you DON'T klick subscribe
23.oct till now!!!!!
I am sick and tired of your adverts
I am sick and tired of your adverts. All the time they are popping up. You have turned me off using your app. That is not dancing either it exercise. Not impressed.
Deliver the product
Deliver the product. Don't charge double. Set up easy cancellation. Stop advertising all together. Your company is a scam. A joke.
Absolute Scammers
Absolute Scammers, avoid at all costs! Signed up for free trial which wasn’t free in August. It cost 24 euro. I just realised that there were monthly transactions of 124.92 that I did not authorise. Submitted a dispute and I asked for proof that I authorised these payments but I did not receive it.
Literally used the app for a few weeks and I deleted it.
I was never able to successfully login…
I was never able to successfully login to their app. First when downloading the app and attempting to log in, it said my account existed that didn’t allow me to self reset a password, and then later in the day I was able to attempt login and when trying to set a password it errored saying “unknown error”.
I said if they couldn’t help me gain successful login that I wanted to cancel.
They immediately cancelled but aren’t refunding for an account I cannot get or have ever gained access to, which was $31.99. Was looking forward to the program but this process is highly suspect:
“Please note that in accordance with our terms of use, subscriptions are non-refundable. To continue supporting your weight loss journey, we’d be happy to offer you a FREE 12 months extension, valid until 2/17/2027, at no extra cost.”
This seems a turnstile login scam where they quickly take your money, you don’t get services you’ve paid for, and instead of providing a helpful resolution the same instructions are provided over and over that do not help, no thanks to “Dmytro”.
I will dispute with my credit card company. Stay far away.
Update 11/22/2025: I received a message to try my login again which was successful so all was fixed on their end.
I’ve upgraded to four stars because I need to give a shout-out to Nikita for being far more helpful than Dmytro. If a misunderstanding a simple phone call or asking for clarification is a lot better than to cancel without proper assistance.
I’d like to give a higher rating but just want to update this and we’ll see how it goes once I get started! Thanks again Nikita, that is how to help a customer during a first time login, as well as impression of a company and experience!
Is this a scam ?
Did the trial and cancelled . However they still are taking money out of my bank and no clear way to cancel. Have tried to contact them but still nothing resolved. Will contact my bank next.

Continues to charge after cancellation. Cancelled a year ago and have proof yet they continue to charge. Everyone please report this company to your state’s Attorney General Attorney General. There are enough complaints on this site alone to get an Attorney General investigation.
An app to avoid
The Dancebit app should be avoided at all costs. I responded to what I thought was a one-time offer of $20 for the app. I received a receipt for the $20, and assumed all was well. What I failed to do was scroll down on what they call the "receipt page." At the very bottom of the page is a notice that, after the first month, I would be billed $64.98 a month. This is a ludicrous amount to charge a customer for any exercise app. I got terribly busy at the end of the summer and, in fact, didn't even have time to create an account, so I never used the app. But I finally checked the account they are billing, and found out that they have already billed me the $20, and then 3 more times since for $64.98 each month (??). This is a shocking and cynical exploitation of customers, many of whom would never guess that the receipt "page" had a whole section threatening to charge an unbelievable monthly subscription fee. Unless you scroll down from the receipt, you wouldn't know there was more to the email and there's nothing on the receipt to indicate what's really going to happen. I didn't authorize the payments that were taken out, and I was not alerted via email, as I am with all other reputable subscriptions I have. To make matters much worse, when I realized what was actually happening, I found I couldn't log in to create an account and cancel my subscription. I kept getting a landing page with no option for logging in. It took me several hours to find a way in to the website, set up an account, and cancel this nightmare of a subscription. Moreover, it's no good trying to plead your case with a company that does everything via AI email responses--just a sunny reply telling you that it won't be possible to refund you the money they have stolen from you. Have a nice day! This is criminal and should result in a class-action lawsuit. Mind you, subscriptions to most good magazines cost less than $100 a YEAR. So, Dance-bit is an example of extreme exploitation and predatory capitalism. Unless you have a lot of disposable income, I suggest avoiding this unscrupulous app like the plague. Oh, and now they seem to have a free app, after stealing no doubt thousands from unwitting customers. Truly alarming. Please report them to the BBB.

Beware!
Beware!
I signed up for what I believed was a one-time offer from Dancebit. What I didn’t realize was that I was being subscribed to a recurring monthly plan. Over the next three months, I was charged a total of around $160 USD — for a service I never used, never accessed, and honestly didn’t even know I was subscribed to.
There were no email reminders or notices of renewal, and to make things more confusing, the company name showing up on my bank statement was “Wilmington”, which gave me no clue it was Dancebit. I cancelled my creditcard to stop the payments. By the time I figured out what was happening, I had been charged multiple times for something I didn’t want, didn’t use, and didn’t benefit from.
When I discovered the charges and contacted customer support, I explained the situation openly and honestly, expecting a fair resolution. While the team was responsive and polite, they repeatedly refused to refund more than the last month — even though I never used the product at all. Their response? “Terms of Use.”
They kept referring to their legal fine print and closed billing periods, rather than acknowledging that I never benefited from the service.
A decent company recognizes when a customer made an honest error, especially when no service was ever used, and works to make things right. Dancebit chose not to.
Bottom line:
If you're considering signing up for Dancebit, be very careful. Read every small line. Double-check if you're entering a subscription. Because once you're in — even if you never use the service — they’ll keep your money, no matter how reasonable your request may be.
Can get the same free of charge
Can get the same free of charge, customer service is a joke. Save your money!!!
DanceBit is a scam
DanceBit is a scam. It says "Now it is FREE" Then you go through the fake process of questions to the end where you see the costs, then they throw in auto renewal at a HIGH PRICE!!!! Don't do it! IT IS A SCAM!
