I recently bought the 8mm PVC rope, and I have to say, it is absolutely amazing! First off, the quality is top-notch, and the rope itself is beautiful—it really stands out. But the real magic is in the performance. The extra weight of the 8mm cord provides incredible feedback, making the workout significantly more intense than a standard speed rope. You can really feel the resistance in your upper body. Surprisingly, it’s also fantastic for double unders. Because you can feel exactly where the rope is around your body, it helps perfect your timing and rhythm. If you are looking for a rope that combines great aesthetics with a serious workout, this is the one. Highly recommended!

Bought as a gift for my brother who loves skipping and is using a basic weighted rope. He has switched over to this and loves it, he is noticing a massive difference in his forearm strenth and his time is slowly increasing as to how long he can skip with this before fatigued. Would 100% recommend, such good quality as well. This is the 3rd rope I have by this company and cannot fault them, they are also reasonably priced.

Received my skipping rope, however it was not the length stated on the website. It was much short and no good for my height. I emailed 3 times to get a replacement but had no reply. In the end I had to get my credit card to claim back my payment.

I bought my first beaded rope to start skipping and I love it. However, I found out it was twisting a lot and I was having to stop a lot to untwist. I noticed a washer was missing which I think was my fault when I shortened the rope and dropped it. The customer service was outstanding, they sent me a washer immediately in the post for no cost even though I think I may have lost it when I shortened my rope. The response to my email was immediate and really helpful and the washer was with me within 2 days for free. My skipping rope is truly amazing. Thank you.

These are high quality ropes. I’ve been using a PVC Dope Rope for a few months and it looks pristine. I tried my new beaded rope recently and got compliments on the colour. It’s lovely to use, just like the PVC rope.

Expensive rope but well worth the investment, especially if like me you are too aggressive and lighter ropes move too fast. What made this purchase worth it is the value in service. Emailed me soon after order to let me know I’d ordered a rope that didn’t fit the handles, changed it for me and asked about my height and current skill. Tailor made the service to get me the correct option. I would have been gutted to get it and realise I’d messed up and couldn’t use it.

Now churning out DU’s and not launching my rope across the room flipping it the bird when I lose my temper

Beautiful colors and high quality beads! When I look at the rope I look forward to using it. It‘s a bit heavier than the rope I’m used to. So I will need to adapt a little bit. But I already love it!
Update after a couple of weeks: adjusting the rope to the right length is a huge game changer! The rope got lighter and jumping with it is a no brainer now. I also love the soft touch of the beeds‘ surface. I recommend Dope Ropes 100% and will certainly order there again!

I’m new to jump roping and picked up the Signature beaded rope along with the Cardio 2.0—both are super high quality. They were easy to adjust for my height and beginner level, and way more enjoyable to use than the basic jump rope my boyfriend bought from a sporting goods store. I had a delivery issue, and Dope Ropes handled it quickly and smoothly. Highly recommend either rope styles if you’re just starting out—I tend to reach for the beaded one more since it’s a little slower and easier to control.

I researched for ages on which rope prior to purchase, added bonus of a discount and also British Made and highly recommended by a friend also. Well what can I say, firstly 10/10 for the Rope and for Customer Service keeping me uptodate on my order.. I asked a few questions when I got it and received the response 2 and half hours later by Keon the Company Owner.. It’s such a fantastic Rope easy to use and to reduce in size, it’s very good quality and well worth the money, as a beginner I’m taking it slowly and building it up as suggested.. Looking forward for better weather to be able to use it more so outside and get upto a better level than I am at the moment.. Take the plunge you’ll not regret it…

The only thing better than their ropes is the stellar customer service. Have recommended these ropes to my friends and will keep recommending. Good quality ropes and any issues I had were dealt with promptly and professionally.

Thank you for reply, I sent an email with a picture of the box to show small box with no mat. The rope shows, on the sides, there is space for about 10 beads to go on each side that look like their missing. That is what I meant about the missing beads. Not sure If there is supposed to be a lot of rope showing.

Tried other brands before, but Dope Ropes x Lauren Jumps was a game changer! The beaded rope really does make learning new techniques way easier than with a regular PVC rope.

Fast delivery of this great jump rope, I love the bright colour and it's lightweight to take anywhere. I'm a beginner and it's really easy to use fast or slow. Best value bit of kit to help me get fit and I'm looking forward to getting better at skipping and doing tricks! Glad I purchased it and would recommend :)
