Eglo advertised on Homebase UK site…
Eglo advertised on Homebase UK site with the eglo sirrecella outdoor lights, shown as in stock and delivery on the 6th September, I ordered and paid, waited a week, no confirmation of product being sent, chased Homebase, then after 24 hours they respond to tell me the supplier had none in stock, no email, text or advice, I had arranged an electrician for 2 weeks after order to fit them, as to give plenty of time. I’m not in a position to just go and buy them elsewhere and I now have to wait for the refund 5-7 working days back into my account, absolutely shocking customer service.
This will be at greater cost to me as I now have to source the lights elsewhere and get urgent delivery, if you know how hard it is to nail down an electrician, you’ll understand why I can’t put them off, as they are also going to fit other electrics for me for my new garden.
I think this should have been highlighted before taking my money.
No consequences for their shabby ordering system but huge consequences for me now !!
