Trang has assisted me with hotel bookings for more than the last 10 years. She has the best customer service and always provided fair and cost effective prices. She is very trustworthy and honest. She is always helpful and does not charge me for extra services whenever I have issues and have to cancel my bookings. I highly recommend Trang.

Unfortunately, there are only 5 stars available to give. In our over 50 years of travel, this was one of the best planned and executed trips done by any travel agency we experienced. The thoroughness, responsiveness to our specific interests, follow through on details, changes when needed while on the trip, recommendations and bookings of everything from restaurants, hotels, drivers, guides, internal air etc were exceptional by Trang. Cannot recommend any better agency to use for this part of the world.

I was referred to Trang and Fine Asian Escapes by a friend who lives in Hanoi. I immediately knew that I was in good hands and minds to plan a family trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. I went back and forth on email for two months with Trang to ensure all my family's needs and requests were met. Trang was incredibly patient and gave me invaluable advice. From the beginning of our trip to the end, Trang made sure everything was organised down to a tee. From minuscule details to the larger plan, it was a top-notch experience. Every holiday is personally arranged after discussion with Trang who has many years of experience, brilliant local knowledge and infinite patience.

Together we created a wonderful holiday, it required, 7 hotels, 5 guides, 3 internal flights, a river cruise, and a final week at the beach. Everything went like clockwork, each hotel was a work of art, a delight in itself and in just the right place to engage with the city life. Every guide spoke excellent English, was well informed and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Several of the guides mentioned that Trang was a favourite employer, with unusual attention to detail, she checked the day before that they were prepared and gave them notes on our likes. She tailored each day to our individual interests, in Hanoi she arranged a cooking class for my wife while I had a 'photo opportunity' tour of the Thief's Market. I told her things in Europe were grim enough at the moment and despite respecting her countries suffering, we didn't want any of the Vietnam War or Pol Pot Massacre experiences in Cambodia that most tours include. I hadn’t thought of it but Trang booked us a hotel room to shower, change clothes and get a nap for the 5 hour wait in Ho Chi Min City before our overnight flight back to the UK it cost very little but was greatly appreciated. Like I said, a perfect individualised holiday though attention to detail.

Trang was in touch throughout the holiday, not intrusively, just quickly checking we had no problems or further questions and were enjoying ourselves.

I admit that initially I was nervous about using an agent based in Asia and I started planning our 4 week tour of East Asia with one of the biggest agency in Europe, one I have used many times before and been happy. We wanted to visit 5 cities in 2 countries, Angkor Wat, a cruise off Halong Bay and an expedition to the Mekong Delta. I was required to do everything through 'The App', visiting different countries meant we were effectively combining different holiday modules on the App and it wasn't possible to receive an emailed document combining them into a single itinerary, "I sorry I can't email you but you don't need it you can see it all on on the App", yes but only as three different trips.

A hotel I particularly wanted for the final stay on a beach was 'not one of ours', theirs was next door but half as nice and more expensive than the one I wanted, if I booked my choice independently I would effectively have ended the holiday there and would have to arrange our own onward transfers. IMO large agencies have lost it through constantly increasing 'efficiency' with Apps, chatbots and generic phone services where you deal with a different agent each time.

Disappointed I did a search on East Asian Holidays, through pure luck Fine Asian Escapes came up, after some googling, checking the credentials provided with relevant Vietnamese Government databases, I contacted Trang.

I've written here separately how Trang and her employee in the UK helped rescue us when the holiday hadn't started, a crash on the M25 enroute to Heathrow meant we might miss the outward flight! A text to Trang from the back of the taxi brought instant help. From then on we relaxed, it was clear we were in the hands of people who would be with us every step of the way.

You may not want such an extensive tour, you may just want a week in Ho Chi Min City or a week at the beach. I'd still advise you to use Fine Asian Escapes for their attention to detail, local knowledge, being in the same time zone. Help from people who are awake and can speak the local language is very helpful if there should be a problem.

I will start by stating that I am a savvy travel professional, with 40 years in the industry that included ownership of my own tour business for women. I know what goes into creating a high-end, perfectly planned, memorable experience for a customer. And that describes working with "Trang" to a "T" -- no pun intended!

In all my years of arranging privately guided vacations for my personal travels, there is no one who out does Trang Nguyen. She delivers nothing short of perfection! I discovered Fine Asian Escapes while researching an inbound agent to handle my long-held dream of touring Cambodia and Vietnam. My husband and I wanted a thorough visit of about 2 weeks to see the sites. Trang worked tirelessly to create a custom itinerary that met our every desire. During the planning stage, she was quick to respond to anything I asked. While onsite, we were delighted with her guides (utterly fantastic!) and the hotel recommendations she made (ideal). All of the secondary suppliers and events that supported our activities -- drivers in tuk tuks and on boats, tickets to the water puppet show in Hanoi and to the bamboo circus in Saigon, restaurants for our included meals -- all were first class. Her pricing is competitive with no surprises.

When an impending typhoon in central Vietnam flooded the city of Hoi An, Trang advised us several days in advance that our stay there was in jeopardy, and she quickly helped us to make alternate arrangements. We added two nights to our Saigon adventure and loved the extra time to explore this amazing city.

I will end by saying how unique and very lucky a find Trang and Fine Asian Escapes are for anyone looking to book one of her tours with total confidence and enjoyment. And get this: I live in the United States. When I went to submit my first EFT deposit to the FAE bank, I was told by my bank, Bank of America, that not one of their hundreds of thousands of customers had ever wired money to FAE. I am so happy that I chose to book our private tour directly with this marvelous Vietnamese based agency. Trang Nguyen was friendly, helpful, and efficient while setting up our tour in Vietnam and Cambodia. She even helped us work through a visa issue - what a relief. Our local guides were fantastic. All of them were interesting and we learned much from hearing their personal stories. I highly recommend this company.

It was a pleasure to visit Vietnam and Cambodia with Fine Asian Escapes. Ms Trang Nguyen arranged our itinerary to perfection down to the finest detail. Right from the day we planned our vacation to the day we departed, she maintained regular and frequent contact, answering every question very promptly. Every detail of our itinerary was immaculately planned - internal flights, transfers, visits and activities. We travelled from Hanoi to Hue and Hoi An, then onwards to Ho Chi Minh City and finally to Seam Reap in Cambodia. Every hotel we stayed in was excellent in every respect, and the breakfasts were simply to die for- catering to every taste. The inclusive lunches were carefully planned so that we could sample the best of Vietnamese food. If you wanted suggestions for the best places for Banh Mi or Com Ga, you only had to ask her- and she would even give you directions how to get there!
When our original plan for an overnight cruise in Halong Bay was postponed because of Tropical Storm Matmo, she arranged a every enjoyable cooking class as an alternative, and the cruise was rearranged to fit into our busy itinerary. The guides were knowledgeable and fun to be with - and some were exceptional, especially Lan Hue at Hue and Seng Kompheak at Angkor Wat.
In conclusion we had an excellent, thoroughly enjoyable and totally worry-free vacation thanks to Fine Asian Escapes. Unfortunately Trustpilot does not permit any rating above 5 stars, - but Fine Asian Escapes certainly deserves at least 7!

Fine Asian Escapes was easy to work with from start to finish. Trang was helpful in finding an itinerary and guides that helped us learn about Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia. In the middle of the trip, one of the airlines canceled our flight and Trang's team completely handled getting us rebooked through another city so we didn't miss any part of our trip. Accomodations and restaurants were excellent. Local guides were knowledgeable, fun to be with and local to each city. Communication with Trang both before and during trip was excellent - we felt well taken care of.

It’s easy to rate a service or company when everything goes smoothly. It’s all about meeting your expectations or not.

Well, it was not my case! Unfortunately, I had a bit of a mishap during my trip (my fault, of course!). Consequently, I found myself hospitalized in a remote location of a foreign country, completely unfamiliar with the language and healthcare system. Despite these challenges, the support provided by the local guides, Ms. Trang and Fine Asian Escapes exceeded any expectations of a travel agent.

Their unwavering assistance, including their proactive approach to navigating the healthcare system, was truly exceptional. I am deeply grateful for their support during this situation. Their efforts not only made for an unforgettable vacation but also provided invaluable help when the unexpected occurred.

I would highly recommend booking a holiday with Fine Asian Escapes. Trang put together a wonderful itinerary for our 3 week to visit Vietnam and Cambodia. She was responsive and communicated well and 'tweaked' any changes we wanted to make. Trang kept in touch throughout the trip to ensure things were going well.
The hotels Trang chose were all perfect for us. Our guides in Vietnam, Spring, Lan, Fletcher and Chin were amazing. So easy to chat with and they shared their extensive local knowledge and gave us a real insight in history, cultural and family life. The same in Cambodia too- all our guides and drivers were helpful and kind and made us feel safe and looked after.
We went on some wonderful food tours which we can recommend and enjoyed all the places we visited. It really was a fascinating trip.

Our tour, by comparison to most others, was probably much smaller in scale and simpler, but it didn't show in the service that we received from Trang. She always replied emails and messages very quickly thoughout. When organising the trip, she was flexible and responsive, and she kept in touch during the trip, sorting out any minor issues that might arise. The English speaking guides we had were all good to excellent, and the driver provided was safe and efficient. We had a memorable short trip to Vietnam!

Ms Trang Nguyen did fantastic job organisation of all our bookings trip transport she was amazing to work with from our first email to checking on us throughout the journey, and until we arrived home safely. She was very helpful in putting together and customizing our itinerary for private tours of Cambodia and Vietnam. Communications were excellent. From the minute we landed in Vietnam 14 days later, we were taken care of in an exceptional manner. From airport pick up to drop off and all the days in between everything was very smooth. It made traveling and experiencing new counties and cultures very easy and stress free for us! Our guides were excellent. English was very good. They were attentive to our needs, and they were knowledgeable about their counties and localities and passionate to share their culture and history with us!
This is a small private travel company and any changes made were e-mail to me and agreed and always made the experiences better.

From the minute we landed in Cambodia up to our departure from Vietnam 17 days later, we were taken care of in an exceptional manner. We had such a wonderful experience working with Ms. Trang Nguyen, who helped us to plan a customized 2 week trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. There was upside on every day of the 10-day tour we took of Vietnam and Cambodia with Fine Asian Escapes. Ms. Trang Nguyen was prescient in the places, hotels, meals she chose for us, not to forget that she was always ready to customize. We got drivers and guides to give us an experience we couldn't have figured out ourselves, since we were visiting these countries the first time. In Siem Reap in Cambodia, the guide experience was delightfully interactive, given that we (me and my wife) were raised Hindu and Angkor Wat and the other temples were originally built as Hindu temples. We were also perfectly at ease in the extremely dense concentration of shops in Hanoi, Hoi An and Siem Reap, because we have seen that in Mumbai before. The breakfast buffets were almost like brunch buffets. (If I would change one thing about the included lunches, it is that I would make them dinners, simply because it is hard to eat 5-6 course lunches after these breakfast buffets.)

One other suggestion I have is to combine the roles of driver and guide if possible. It could save some money. We chose the 4-star premium package and it was not a problem for us, but I do think it may bring more customers.

We also loved the break from sight-seeing when doing the class in Vietnamese cooking and lantern making. Definitely something we will cook at home.

While I have largely turned vegetarian and requested Ms. Nguyen for vegetarian meals, I had to suspend that diet in this trip for the best possible reason, that there was so variety of good food that I did not want to miss.

Ms. Nguyen and her small company punches well above their weight. You will get personal service that is harder with bigger tour operators. Absolutely worth comparing and considering. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about Fine Asian Escapes is a pleasure.
From my first emails to enquire about our trip, through the planning process, Ms Trang seemed to be available whenever I had a question. She helped plan our trip locations, hotels, excursions and more, Even once the booking was made she kept in touch to advise on Visas and other essentials.
When we landed in Hanoi, we were met from the plane and our passage through customs was expedited. The first lady who met us snapped our pic on her mobile which ensured that our guides in various cities recognised our faces and saved us from searching for them.
Speaking of guides... Wow. we had guides at each location we visited. Sapa, Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An and Saigon. Each guide was fluent in English, but more importantly, they were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their cities. They also all had a good sense of humour which is so important when you are spending a lot of time together. Throughout the trip Ms Trang kept in tough to ensure that we were having a good time and advising us about our next location and guide.
When our planned itinerary was complete, we elected to stay on in Saigon for a few extra days. Ms Trang organised our hotel, a late checkout on our departure date and a driver and guide to take us to the airport and ensure that our check in was seamless.
I cannot recommend Fine Asian Escapes highly enough. Every person involved with the company is a credit to them and as a team they strive to give you the perfect holiday.
