I’ve placed the order on 5 January for…

I’ve placed the order on 5 January for the items (carpets) that were in stock. It is 3 February today and they have not been delivered yet. I’ve already ordered and received carpets from another reseller. Now waiting for the Finnishop to deliver the order to be able to return it... The whole purchasing experience was confusing. My card was charged at the time of purchase, then the amount was released, making me think the order was cancelled. A few weeks later I found that the amount was finally written off my card.. I will not be buying from Finnishop again.

I returned an item that did not match…

I returned an item that did not match its product description, and I was charged a 9 euro restocking fee for returning the item. I am disgusted. Restocking fees are illegal in Europe ! This company has horrendous customer service, but I will pursue a refund.

UPS told me to contact the sender, but trying to speak to a human at the Finnish Design Shop seems to be impossible. The bot told me to contact UPS, so I am now going round in circles. Customer support completely unresponsive while marketing emails continue

I have contacted the company multiple times regarding my order and my return request, yet I have received absolutely no response. I am requesting to return an item from my order. Despite several follow-up emails, I have not been provided with any return instructions or a return label. At the same time, I continue to receive marketing and promotional emails almost every day. Being ignored on a legitimate customer service request while constantly receiving marketing emails is unacceptable and highly frustrating. At this point, I am forced to raise this issue publicly in order to get any response. I sincerely hope the company will finally address this matter and resolve it properly.

Great product, problematic delivery

The pieces are perfect! They're Lego heads for Christmas. Exactly as I hoped. However, the delivery was not straightforward and I think this process needs to be changed. I opted for delivery to a local oohpod (a parcel locker service). The couriers informed me it had arrived but did not provide the access code I needed to retrieve the item. I had 1 week to collect the items, and it almost took the week for this issue to be resolved. The courier's customer service was extremely difficult to reach and I tried every email / online option available. Eventually a lengthy phonecall sorted it out. So, this should be communicated to the couriers. But the product was great.

Great for UK buyers

I really like all things Scandinavian and this shop doesn’t disappoint. Lots of choice and great service. Delivery to the UK is consistent, on time and all import and taxes are included. Given that many European companies don’t deliver to the UK it’s great to find those who do.

Fast shipping and great variety of design

An amazing selection of Nordic design (with a few other European ateliers included). The utility of the humble Finns, the understated yet stoic Swedes and the complex Danes (capable of executing both elegance and a more loud reaction to existing convention) are all on show here. The quality of the products is exceptional in today's fast and disposable environment. My package arrived quickly and the vase suffered no damage. Shipping was expensive to Australia (especially for multiple items) which limited the size of my order. If anything, I wish for a button to filter any product that has, or references, a Moomin.

I have ordered a rug and a lamp shade…

I have ordered a rug and a lamp shade in June 2025, after few weeks I emailed to know when I was going to get me order and I found out one of the article I ordered was only going to be available at the end of September therefore my order was going to be shipped by then. I was very surprised as at the Time of ordering there were no info saying this.
I asked to ship at least the article that was ready to be shipped (the rug) , which they did.
I then re-email at the end of September asking when the lamp shade was going to be shipped. And again they said ‘so sorry it will be shipped at the beginning of October’. It’s the 11th of October and I have not heard anything about my order.
I think I will eventually forgot about this order..
really bad. They should state it on the website when you place an order. (Many websites tell you when articles are ready to be shipped).
I don’t think I will ever purchase from here again.

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding my recent order for Dubai. While the shipping costs initially appeared reasonable online, upon delivery the goods arrived overheated, left outside as though damaged, and I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional USD 150 directly to the courier.

To clarify the reason: as mentioned on our website, for orders outside the EU (excluding the US, Norway, Switzerland and the UK), shipments are sent on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that the shipping fee shown at checkout covers only transportation, while import duties, customs and local sales taxes are determined and collected by the destination country’s authorities. Unfortunately, these charges are beyond our control.
