What a dreadful company.
On their track and trace system my parcel is in Ireland according to liars.Com, since 5th February yet it took longer ( 7 days) to be delivered to me than it took to come from the UK?? Unbelievable...
Sent me an email on Wednesday 11th February @8.23am Parcel out for delivery with driver
Cancelled an appointment and waited in all day , then had the cheek to say that they called to my home @17.07 pm and I wasn't home? 🐂💩
I drank a whole jar of coffee waiting for the delivery.
Then this morning 12th February same email again @ 8.15 am
Parcel out for delivery with driver bla bla bla...
So I decided to ring customer service as I wasn't waiting in again all day.
Well their customer service is worst than their lies.
Couldn't care less!!..
Parcel has now arrived finally @14.25pm...
Driver informed me he wasn't even in Sligo yesterday, so couldn't even have called to my home whatever liar decided to write " they had called and I wasn't in".
Why make up this crap just to make your company look good on paper, when the company is useless in reality.
Anyone sending parcels or receiving parcels should definitely think twice about using them....
Get someone with an Donkey and Cart you'll get a much better quicker service... Ridiculous behaviour.

If i could give 0 stars i would . Stay away placed a shipping request on Monday , it's now Thursday & it still hasn't left the collection shop. Sent email after email no response, then I rang & got told do you want me to get it collected . (Sh yes) . I told her it said 1 to 3 days max, we are now day 4, I then ask when will it be collected time no idea , day no idea . Got money back ..Not even a sorry . Order was going from limerick to Dublin . . The just eat lads or delveroo would have bring quicker

This is the worst company I have ever used . Ordered 2 poducts from smyths on the 4th of Feb and I still haven't received them. Im ragein smyths have GLS delivering for them now . They used to use fast way and the order would be alway delivered the next day. I have emailed lots and gotten lies saying they are aware of this and id have the product the following day or two and still nothing . Its the worst service ever .
Unreal Experience GLS
I was sent an email to say my delivery would be Wednesday ,it did not arrive and on the tracking info said nobody home ,I phoned but lady not interested ,said someone would phone me back ,I phoned again today Friday and they don't know where the delivery is ,contact the shipper ,the lady said it would be another three days working days to get more info and hung up

The package was apparently delivered and signed for on 3rd Feb shortly after midday. We had no trace of a delivery or a package.
One day later a person living in a neighbouring estate showed up with the parcel/box which had been left outside their house. The package was worth several hundred euros in value.
GLS had been contacted twice. As far as they were concerned thd package was delivered and were going to take 3 more days to try to locate the driver etc.
If it weren't for the good deed of a complete stranger , we might never have seen the item.
Beware of using GLS ever.

Worst CompanyExperience - Out of Pocket!!
One of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had. A parcel containing an expensive watch was delivered to an incorrect address, which the company initially acknowledged. I was informed that the driver would attempt to recover the parcel and was later advised the driver would not respond to them and to apply for a refund or replacement from the company of purchase! However, after submitting the required forms, GLS contradicted its earlier position and stated that the driver claimed the parcel had been delivered correctly even though customer service had acknowledged a different delivery address on their system! Despite contacting GLS on multiple occasions and being assured that an investigation would be opened, I never received any follow-up or resolution or correspondence having called, emailed and written to the company. As a result, I am now out of pocket by several hundred euros. They do not even deserve a one-star rating and are the worst company I have ever dealt with!!

I had the same problem with GLS just before Christmas twice now this has happened. I'm so disappointed!! No photograph of where it was left, or a signature.
AVOID!!!
There should an option to leave no stars for GLS. Avoid at all cost. GLS is the only delivery company in Ireland that will give you no updates on what is happening to your parcels for over a week. No reliable customer support that can help with anything. If they loose your parcel, they will not know why and they won't hold themselves accountable.
Dreadful
So far the service has been nothing short of dreadful, they had my parcel for 3 days before "attempting" to deliver it. Got a message last night at 21.25 saying my parcel was delivered, it's nowhere to be found! We can all make our own assumptions about where that's gone! I won't order from a company that use GLS anymore ( FYI FASTWAY used to be the worst and now they're gone - just saying)
Do not trust the locations on the website. They are colsed.
All the locations listed on the website that I tried in Louth said they are not working with this company because they were not paying in time or failed to collect parcels for days.
Avoid this Company
Avoid this Company, they are cheaper for a reason. They make Ryanair service seem like Qatar Airways. Very slow with delivery and extremely unhelpful customer service. Only positive thing was I only had to hold for 2 minutes before getting through to extremely unhelpful staff member.
Most disappointed
Most disappointed. My delivery form states that parcels should be left on my front porch which is protected. Yesterday it was raining - huh!! I received an email saying my parcel had been delivered. I checked my porch several times - nothing there. Today I went out and found a parcel that had been put over the wall, in the rain, and it was soaked! I couldn't pick it up, I couldn't slide it around, the whole thing just broke apart. What am I to do? What absolutelty stupid delivery person would just drop a cardboard parcel over the front wall (five yards from the front porch) in the pouring rain? And the contents were also soaked. I am also disabled right now having just had hip surgery. Most disappointed in this service. I will request a different delivery service in future.

This is the worst courier in Ireland, the sent email saving parcel delivered. It was NOT. Online support rubbish, tried to cslll them long waiting time had to give up . Avoid at all costs

No service whatsoever. Over a week waiting on parcel from Dublin. When I rand customer service they said it could be another 3 days that’s ridiculous, I’ve got parcels from Australia quicker that that. I asked could I collect it at my local depot and they refused. Joke of a company

The worst experince I will not be ordering from any company who uses GLS, I have sent numerous e-mails to change a delivery address, no response and they continued to deliver to the old address. I spent 1 hour in a q, when finally I got through to someone last week. One package was delivered to new address but the original they tried once again to deliver to the first address. Appaling customer service.

If I could give zero I would. So disappointed with this courier. Two different orders made recently from two different companies that use GLS as their courier have been so late I'm still waiting on the second order. I emailed GLS a week ago and they didn't even bother responding to my email. I told the company that I made this second order from that I actually won't order from them again because they use GLS. The amount of bad reviews about them is astounding and they're made for a good reason. How is this company still in business?
If there was a no star rating I'd give it , parcel not scanned or moved for days and half hour at a time waiting on the line to speak to anyone ,that also has no clue . Still not delivered

Waiting on a Christmas gift that cost €650 that I ordered on the 4th of December. As bad as the merchant is with customer service, gls are even worse! I mean why are companies using such a terrible company like gls with a rating like they have. Worse again gls tracking stated today my parcel has been delivered but it hasn’t as I’m home today. I called them again after waiting the usual 1 hour to connect and they have raised a ticket so that the driver has to deliver it within the next 3 days. Merchant doesn’t want to know anything about it.
